oh man. saw a sign in the mall saying get a week for $5, no contracts, no commitments. perfect. i looked up the phone number and found these reviews all saying never ever to give them a credit card and that its a scam. but im just in town a month, so id pay strictly with cash. i went to the store and it turns out i misread the sign. actually one week $5 no contracts means buy this month, and the next month (at the rate of $5/week), sign a contract and give them a credit card :-). and then there was a hilarious exchange between me and these two putzes. at first they said i needed to buy all of july, then it became all of july and all of august. i said fine, heres 20 bucks cash for july. and they were like no no we need a credit card, we cant just let you go in there, this is work out world, we need a credit card. and then later they were like what if you get hurt, we need a credit card. wtf? i said ill sign a waiver just like every gym does. anyways, since i wasnt going to pay up for all of July and August, i was going to do a free five day trial, and they handed me a contract form for the trial with a ton of fine print (which according to contracts they ignore anyways) and they said they needed my credit card just to have on file. at that point i walked out. omg these guys are slimy! the guy said to me, come on, youre so surprised, havent you ever seen an ad thats just a bit better than it is? like a picture of a burger that looks better than it looks at the store? i said no dude, this is different, you guys are advertising a burger and selling something totally different.

I have been a member of Work Out World for 4 years now- and frankly, I dont understand the negative reviews at all. For $20/mo I have unlimited access to any of their many central New Jersey facilities and have never had an issue with my billing. I use the gym primarily for Group Fitness classes, and in terms of variety and quality I have consistently been impressed. All of the instructors have been enthusiastic, encouraging, and easy to follow, and the BTS classes are a fun and challenging way to get in shape- especially for those of us who arent fond of simply running on the treadmill. The newer facilities boast separate rooms for Yoga/Pilates classes, and all the locations I have been to (EB, NB, Menlo, Marlboro, Freehold, Robbinsville) have consistently been clean and accessible. I tend to average 2-3 classes a week, which more than outweighs the monthly price given that private studios charge upwards of $15-20 per class. Overall, I have been very satisfied with my membership.

I hate this gym. Its dirty and too overcrowded. The answer shouldnt be "you go at the worst time". If I cannot use the gym at peak time then its obviously very poorly managed. I lose 1 or 2 days a month at least because I cant get at any of the equipment I need. You literally trip over ppl doing excersises in the narrow walkways between the densely packed.machines. Theres basically zero room for free weights. This gym is a horrible idea for a beginner. Id suggest anywhere but here. Id love for a fire code officer to show up at peak time because Id guarantee there are times they are over capacity. Then theyd get fined which would make me very happy. I am literally counting the days until my membership expires. I sincerely hope this place has bad wiring or gets hit my lightining so it will burn to the ground in the near future.

I never had a problem with customer service at this gym and I never experienced a staff member late at 5am Opening.. So reading these reviews are very shocking to me.. Now the contract is little different.when I first signed up I was told I was being charged for the prorated membership amount and for the next month.Which I paid about 27. 00 in total To signing up..I was told The annual fee was going to be waived..NOT! The next payment day came and 84.00 instead of 21.00 dollars was debited from my checking acct..i called immediately..ofcourse they were ready to tell me some false info.. Like I misunderstood them or they told me that.. It was very annoying. But I continued my membership I had no other mishaps besides that one. The workers there always greet me upon arrival and leaving..

Do NOT ever sign up for this gym...leave alone trying out thier 5 day FREE TRIAL....because once you are in its a one-way door to being stuck...you will never get out!!! They have a terrible customer service department and try to prevent people from contacting them at all costs. I would really appreciate if someone could give me the contact information for the owner...I signed up just a couple of weeks ago and they told me that I had three days to decide on my membership...I went before three days to cancel it and I never could meet anyone who could complete the formalities... Its always "we need to get in touch with the corporate office" and no one ever responds. DONT EVER GET INTO THIS HELL !!!

the gym it self is ok. They just got brand new equipment which is great. However some of the worst staff I have ever seen. Im a service manager for a Fortune 500 company and I have never see customer service reps rude to their customers. This makes no sense, how can you be rude to people that are paying to go there. The worst person is the 2 women that work at night at the front desk. I guess asking them a question is too much to ask when eating left over Cheesecake Factory in front of you. I love WOW but they should fire every person there and get new staff.

I go early in the morning. Good crowd. I like to lift hard and there quite a few other folks who are the same, but there are also a lot of casual people. So, it doesnt seem like it should be too intimidating for anyone and I can get a good spot if needed. As for the staff - always friendly and I never feel like they push extras on me. Its ~$20 or so a month And there a lot of great machines so good value. For the complaints about cancelation policies, read the contracts more closely. Also, theyre very flexible with putting accounts on hold if needed.

This fresh, open, and clean facility is secretly tucked away behind ihop and Dennys and I never knew it was there! I admittedly was drawn in by a promotion, but ended up falling in love. The staff are amazing, helpful, personable, and knowledgeable about what they offer, all the equipment is up to date, and the rates are the best within miles. I have a small child and I feel safe putting her in the childcare room for an hour...they even have a video channel on the treadmills personal TVs that lets you I see inside the playroom! I found my home gym!

Currently moving and need to cancel my membership. I provided WoW with a signed copy of my lease as a proof of move. They replied back saying that it is not a valid proof of move. Theyd like me to send them a utility statement after I move so they can continue to ROB me of my money for an extra two-three months. Management is nothing but a headache. What more proof do you need than a signed lease?? Very unprofessional. They are not concerned about the customers situation AT ALL.
