My son was enrolled at a larger chain daycare. I am a first time parent so I figured go with the most popular daycare thinking they would be the most experienced and caring. My company even recommended them. From the first day of dropping him off I saw he would roam aimlessly and cry a lot and not get individualized care or even smiles. The people working there (except for one) were all miserable and there to make their paycheck. After several months of guilt and having enough of all the changes they made to meet their needs instead of the needs of the parents and children I decided to look around. I was tired of hearing comments like oh maybe he wants to eat what the other kids are eating (no thank you I dont want to feed my son lean cuisine or fruit soaked in syrup). I googled organic daycares and I found Cresthill Academy. From the minute I stepped into the daycare for the tour I was greeted by a very cheerful and passionate Director and Owner. Taylor and Christina have the children in their care as their first priority and the parents comfort is their priority as well. They invited me to bring my son for a full day to test it out and invited me to stay for the full day as well. I took them up on their offer, here is what I found: Pleasant and cheerful staff all day The children love their staff The food! All organic/non-gmo (would you want anything else for your little ones) The technology is amazing! All day I get pictures and videos of my son sent to me email! My happiest moments at work are when I get those emails of my son dancing or smiling and laughing and engaging in great activities Sports programs for 18 months and older to start in March A very engaging summer program Very clean, large and sunny room A large indoor playground for use during winter and rainy days Large, private, safe outdoor playgrounds Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack all served again all organic/non gmo including milk! Do I need to say more? Upon knowing all this you may be thinking that the cost will be an arm and a leg and not even call them...but that is the amazing part...all this care for your special ones will cost the same as your paying now for those larger chains. My old daycare was 5 minutes from home. We now travel 40 minutes through traffic to take our son there. It is worth it at the end of the day when he runs to me and says "Happy, Happy". These are people you can trust your children with and know they will be engaged, cared for and above all - happy. Thank you Cresthill Academy!

After having my second child and exploring the cost of nannies, I decided to check out daycares to see how they compared. I visited over 8 schools. Cresthill was head and shoulders above all of them!! Just a FEW things I love about this school -- 1.) Everything is organic 2.) The playgrounds are turf with fake grass and they have separate ones for the different sized kids…no yucky mulch! 3.) They dont force the babies into a schedule...they adjust to the infant 4.) The Tadpoles App is amazing!! All daily reports, notes, updates are captured here. Videos and pictures are sent periodically throughout the day as well so you feel connected to your child even when you are not around 5.) They are privately held and not governed by big brother. I find this feels more intimate...they know everyones name 6.) Excellent language exposure – sign language, Mandarin, and Italian 7.) They start using the smart board at age 3 or 4 8.) HUGE focus on curriculum. They ensure all teachers follow it to a ‘T’ 9.) They bring in outside activities -- firefighters, bouncy bus, sports class, yoga, dance class, music, etc. 10.) The children do arts and crafts projects each week and you get to take home everything they make (they even do this with the infants, so I have a bunch of baby hand and footprint artwork!) 11.) The school uses an anti-microbial treatment multiple times throughout the year to remove all the nasty germs/bugs that tend to spread like wildfire through daycares 12.) No microwaves in the school at all so no exposure to potentially harmful radiation 13.) Most importantly, the staff is amazing! So attentive, kind and helpful. The Director (Taylor) is always looking for ways to further engage the students and create a fun learning environment! They truly place your children 1st. Every time I visited and parents were taking their kids home, the children were crying because they didnt want to leave! I cannot recommend this school enough. Its such a blessing to have found Cresthill. The teachers are so helpful and loving, both my kids love going. Plus, they are getting great socialization AND education!

My 21 month-old daughter Aria has been going to Cresthill for about 8 months now and we absolutely love it there! From our first visit, the director Ms. Taylor and owner Mrs. Christina were so warm, enthusiastic and inviting. They answered all of our questions and concerns. Since our daughter, Aria has been enrolled we have been so happy with how much she is learning and how she has developed and thrived in past eight months. She picks up so quickly and we can see the progress every day! She uses her signs, wants to read books, sings her songs and alphabet, starting to counting and so much more. Now that she has moved up, I am looking forward to even more progress. Cresthill has many activites, themed days throughout the months, excercise and yoga, music time, arts and craft. It is a wonderful learning environment. The teachers are amazing and are so friendly, they all know your child by name. Some days I have to pull my daughter out of Cresthill because she isnt ready to go home!! Being a first time working mom, it is comforting to know that your child is In such a caring environment at Cresthill. The organic meals and snacks they provide makes life a bit easier when youre on the go! The daily progress reports, pictures and videos lets you know how your childs day went is the absolute cherry on top. You will absolutely fall in love with Cresthill once you take a tour.

I agree w. Christina P. My child is also in the infant room and my other is in the toddler room, and our family is extremely happy with this daycare. They are truly wonderful, and extremely clean. My daughter hasnt been sick since she started, and was constantly at another daycare. We have been to other daycares and have experienced many issues. At the end of the day, I have to pick up my child because she refuses to leave. She kicks and cries all the way to the car. She absoultely loves her teachers and friends. I have never had an issue with any teacher or anyone in management. They are always available for questions and will take your suggestions into consideration. DONT ALWAYS BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!! Go check it out for yourself and ask other parents that are enrolled. They are doing an incredible job, and this is coming a parent who is ontop of everything due to bad past experiences we encountered else where. Im bothered by the fact that someone is attacking our school. Please dont hesitate, go in and check it out. We signed up immediately and so did someone else I referred. The parent I referred couldnt thank me enough, and her husband was so pleased with this place. They were in a jam and had no where to turn. She was so greatful that she asked me to dinner. I have never been so comfortable and at ease.
