I called this morning to make an appointment at 6:30 for waxing my lip, underarms, half legs, and bikini line. They told me I didnt need an appointment, I could just come in. Apparently the language barrier was more significant than I realized... I sat waiting for half an hour before they rushed me into a room. The woman refused to do my bikini line - she told me to come back tomorrow. Then she rushed through the rest of my waxing. Holy hell, it hurt! And when I tried to ask questions, she blew me off with half-assed answers. Mid-wax she told me they closed at 7 today. Explains the rush job, but their posted closing time is 8! AND I called ahead to make sure it was okay to come! If they didnt want to serve me, (a) why didnt they say so on the phone, and (b) why didnt they turn me away at the door? When she finished waxing, she left globs of wax all over my legs. I tipped her anyway because I felt bad stiffing her, but she barely even thanks me! Absolutely the WORST customer service Ive experienced in ages, and the quality of the wax job was not worth the hassle!

It was because of this place that I was introduced to threading(method of facial hair removal) and I absolutely love threaded eyebrows now, not to mention the cost(I believe its $5 eyebrows, $3 for upper lip, 20-25 for whole face, which includes neck/jawline)!! I cant afford most beauty salon services but I can always afford to have eyebrows done&thats awesome. I still go to Khoobsurat even though I moved an hour away(I used to live right across the hwy). I was always afraid of waxing,used to do my own eyebrows with tweezers. Now that I get them threaded at Khoobsurat, Im MUCH happier with my eyebrows(and think I look silly in old photos with my home-styled brows). The woman who runs the place is very nice, knows me&my sister&mother, knows what shes doing&will always try to fit you in. PS--Threading is quite painful (I just happen to think its worth it)

I bought their 5 brazilian wax package off Groupon - I regretted it after the 1st wax. Positives - fast - easy to make appointments Negatives - The employees are sometimes rude depending on their mood - One time my waxer was on the phone, yelling at one of her customers for cancelling, while I was undressing... - Not very professional - Always missed a lot of hairs - When I asked her to do some parts again because I found a lot of hairs she would say "its fine, youre asian, you already dont have a lot of hair" - I would find leftover wax not only all over my skin, but on my clothes, shoes, and other random places - Most painful experience. I have gotten waxes before. Even my first one was not as bad as her. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemies for a brazillian wax

So i have been at this salon but i think now i will change my mind, because firstly they dont care about the ease of customer. If i want to change i to a gown for my wax, I should be given one Bcoz i dont want my clothes to be sticky and full of wax! The MAJOR one was yesterday when the lady ripped my skin while waxing and now i have bruises on my hand and underarms bcoz she did not pull the strips properly and they had their a/c turned off in that crazy heat outside!!! Not going there anymore!!!

Worse place ever. The owner tries to get more money from you as much as she can. She is rude. The place is not up to part what so ever. She wanted to charge me double the price than what was lasted. Once I questioned her prices she got loud, started walking out and she started cursing. Way to keep your customers happy. Doesnt she realize that there are so many other salons.

Khoobsurat Salon is an excellent place to go to! I love getting my eyebrows done there. I live 5 minutes away so it is very convenient for me. They are really nice and my eyebrows are done quickly. Only takes them 5 minutes and Im out the door. Definitely recommend it to everyone! Please go and get your hair and eyebrows done there!
