This gym has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. By all means, DO NOT join this gym. The current manager is TERRIBLE. She lacks all sense of professional pride and is extremely rude with her tone. She replies with one word answers and shows no respect for the customers. She is the "blonde one" mentioned harshly in a previous comment. This is completely accurate of her persona. The assistant manager, was even worse. She "called herself" the assistant manager because there was no manager on duty and because she has been employed with the company for two years. That alone, was the most unprofessional thing I have ever heard. She called my husband a fool and had the audacity to refuse us communication with the manager and regional manager during an issue. I have never felt more victimized and bullied in a gym. This resulted in several phone calls and revisiting the gym after canceling our membership to speak with someone with more authority of the company. I felt like i was going around in circles. Believe me, you do NOT want this headache. Furthermore, my husband and I had items stolen out of a LOCKED locker Working in the health and fitness field myself, I know things happen. However, they told us that they were not responsible even for locked items. That evening we went to the police and of course we had to cancel our cards and request new ones. Less then a week later, we were hit with late fees from this company because of the timing of our card cancellation. Even though our wallet was stolen out of their locked locker in their facility and the incident had occurred less then a week before, they were unwilling to drop the late fees. To not sympathize with our situation after being fully aware of it was outrageous. We only just received our new cards in the mail the day before. Money hungry company with cheap equipment. Its worth the extra $5-$10 a month for a better gym. That was our breaking point. Never again will we be Planet Fitness members and we will discourage everyone from ever joining this gym.

Tom, the manager, is extremely rude and argued with me saying I need to contact the bank to reverse the charge that Planet Fitness charged my card. He told me its in the contract that Planet Fitness can charge my credit card automatically a $10 declined fee per the contract; however the original charge never went through. Somehow the monthly charge plus the $10 went through fine though. He told me it was my fault and refused to refund me the $10 declined fee, even though it was never declined. He told me that I had no idea what I was talking about and that I could dispute the $10 declined fee with my bank - I TOLD HIM MY BANK HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CHARGE AND HE KEPT SAYING ITS MY OWN FAULT. Amazing the quality of staff that is management in this place. I have termed my agreement and will tell everyone how this place will find ways to charge extra "per the contract".

Not a good experience. Joined the gym for $10.00 a month. I had surgery and wanted to cancel my membership. I was told by the super rude manager that I needed my doctor to fax a letter. My doctor faxed the letter 2 times, but PF said they never received it. I then took the letter to them, completed their cancellation form and left. A month later PF still billed me. I called the manager who stated that I never cancelled the membership. At that time I was completely frustrated. I contacted my bank and explained the situation submitted my proof and the bank blocked PF and refunded 3 months payments to my account and held PF accountable for the money. I later received a call from a bill collector on behalf of PF who stated that I owed $36 not including fees and charges. Absolutely horrible. It took months to get this situated. Horrible staff and supervisors.

The gym is great however the showers are pretty disgusting. I go to the gym in the morning before work so I could imagine only a few people have been in the shower before me, if that. The workers who stand at the desk and do absolutely nothing during their shifts should consider checking on the showers/locker room situation from time to time. The showers smell and the shower curtains seem like they have possibly never been changed. I used to go to the Brick Planet Fitness and their showers were extremely clean and you didnt mind using them. This one constantly has loose hairs against the shower walls, the floors are soaking wet, and the floors of the shower are actually brown and spotted from dirt.

Ive been in a lot of gyms and never have I felt so comfortable, relaxed and well treated as this on. The staff is exceptional and the trainer was incredibly helpful in designing a program around a couple limitations. The front desk staff is wonderful and always a pleasure to see at 6:00 am. I HIGHLY recommend this gym. Oh - and their contracts are absolutely NOTHING like some of the others out there. If youre not a lunk and looking for a great gym - this is it! Youll love it, I promise!

They continue to charge you credit card after you cancel the membership even with written proof that you canceled the membership. Make sure you get something in written, they will claim you never canceled two of the male staff members that work the front desk are rude as hell. If I every joined planet fitness again (I highly doubt I would) it will definitely not be the one at Monmouth Mall! Showers are also dirty and the dont clean them every day.

Its nothing special but its not a bad gym. Only problem is with the overall alleged 24hrs policy. Its actually more like 21 hours because they shut down for four hours between 9 and 12. I like to workout at night around those inbetween hours. Machines seem clean, friendly staff but havent interacted with them to say how good they really are. Lockers see clean showers seem clean bathrooms too. A good place to get a workout in.

Cleaner than any gym I have ever been to. Staff is wonderful! I really like the manager, I think her name is Christine, always welcomes you and says have a great workout. Then when you leave she says good bye and gives you encouragement to keep working and tells you how good you look and says keep coming back. Sometimes she even tells you that you look like you lost weight, which is really nice to hear!

Terrible gym, not suitable for a serious workout. They have cheap equipment and lack important machines and No Free Weight Bench Press! Rude staff. the blonde girl in front has no communication skills. It might be cheap but the results are parallel., go to golds or ultimate fitness on rt 35 for a less expensive alternative.

I like this gym. Whats with all the hate? What do you expect from a gym? All you peeps just need to put your headphones on, exercise, leave, and an occasional "hi and goodbye" or whatever from staff. THE only issue I have is the wifi. Needs to be stronger . It does not work on some of the busiest times.

Simple, clean and well staffed, no frills gym. They just upgraded their equipment which is nice. Its everything you need for a simple workout. WiFi is a touch iffy but after my last gym, which was dirty, crowded with a contract that sacked money out of me even after I quit, Ill take this, thanks.
