My collision repair experience at Ultimate Collision Repair in Edison was nothing short of phenomenal. The repair work was impeccable, the paint is perfect, and the customer service throughout was terrific! This repair was through my NJM insurance carrier, as Ultimate Collision Repair is a Preferred Repair Shop of NJM and I couldnt have asked for an easier, more stress free experience. After my accident to my 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, I was extremely upset that my (in my head still new) car would never be new again. Gerry and his team, however, did a tremendous job, and my car looks showroom new again! I am not one to typically write reviews. I was a little concerned by some of the Google Reviews I read, but I am sure more people would have only great things to say about Ultimate Collision if they would only spend 5 minutes to give this business its deserved praise. Customer service was great throughout, I was updated on the work throughout the process, and it was completed on time and much quicker than I anticipated going into the process...and that was over the Christmas/New Years holiday. They have rental vehicles available on-site, and treated me and my little Hyundai like Im sure they do the owners of the many Ferraris that come into their shop. Please dont let some of the reviews sway you. I am glad I went with my gut and chose Ultimate Collision for my collision repair. A++ Experience. Thank you Ultimate Collision Repair, you guys were great!

All started really good and vent to the crapper right after. Long story short... I stopped in after work to fix rear bumper on my Jeep Wrangler from hit & run few days before, even tho they were supposed to close in 5 minutes after I arrived, one of the employees was very kind and walked out with me to the vehicle to assess the damage and ask me a few questions... as soon as I told him that this repair is cash job and will not be going thru insurance he seemed to loose interest and promised to call next day with estimated cost. Next day nobody called (my information was taken along with with damage assessment). 2 days after I called 3 times finally getting somebody on the line, and I wish I didnt after speaking to her! The most loud and plainly said disgusting individual to deal with who should not be let anywhere near a potential customer! To the Owner: I wish you best of luck in your business endeavor, however I will never again seek automotive services from your business and will always urge other to do the same. Good Luck.

This place is run by total unprofessional people. They really have no concept of customer care or customer satisfaction. I brought in my car for repair because they were one of the recommended body shop by my insurance. What a mistake! They told me repair should be completed within a week and it took more than 6 weeks. They will not call you to give you a update, every time I chased them I was told that their dealer delivered wrong parts or did not send the parts on schedule. During whole interaction I never felt that they were trying to finish the job quickly or doing what a responsible body shop should be doing. Finally after the delivery I took the car home to find out that they did not fit one of the sensors correctly and now I have to take it back to get it repaired. Overall an awful experience.

I have used this company before and normally, the work they do is amazing and timely and the staff is very friendly. This time around - not so much. They were 8 days late with the work (if the staff I spoke to wasnt so rude to me, I probably would have let this slide) and they seemed confused about what was going on with my car and why it was taking so long (lack of communication between staff). This company should work on customer service skills. If you give a date for completion, you should stick to it or at the very least, have someone call to tell the customer whats going on. Instead, I had to keep calling for a status update every time they told me it would be done. My car looks amazing but the staff is enough to make you want to try someplace else.

Im going to give this place 5 stars simply because their customer service is outstanding. While waiting for an estimate in their lobby, I heard the two women at the reception area and they were so friendly and informative. Their phone was ringing nonstop and the girls managed to answer all of the questions on their own! I was shocked. Ive never seen a body shop more organized and professional from start to finish. Many of my friends have had their body work done here and they all referred me here. I did not get any repairs here yet because Im waiting on my insurance agent to get back to me but I will definitely review again after I get the work done! Thank you for such a warm friendly experience! I will be referring my friends and family!

My son and I brought his car here for front bumper repair, Brian indicated the car would be towed to dealer for a mechanical repair after body work was complete But it was driven by one of Ultimates employees and along the way the Engine light came on. Then we were quoted $1100.00 worth of engine work. This car ran perfect and Never had an engine light since we owned it. Brian told us he never said it would be towed to the dealer which was a Lie! Soo, paint looked good car now has new engine problem.

Terrible. It would appear that if you dont own a ferrari or high end car they dont give a crap about you. Brought my Evo there after being rearended. 5 months later my car was done. Fitment of the parts they installed was poor, the paint quality wasnt much better than the factory job, the blending of paint to factory paint was awful. Car was never aligned, and they replaced frame rails! How do you not align a car with frame damage? I would stay away from this place. Far away.

I brought my car in to get repaired when someone hit it so I wasnt going through insurance. Im from Staten Island but a friend recommended me here and Im glad I went. The place was clean and organized. The owner told me a bunch of different ways to fix it and how much each would cost. He told me when the car should be ready and the price it would be, got a call from them the exact day and picked up my car. No surprises and a pleasant experience.

Charged me for damages I did not even cause in his quote from my accident. He tried charging me $1,500 for a bumper that was just scratched and was about 1/2 inch misaliagned on one side and had no dents at all. Went to Jacks autobody 1 min away and got a quote for $900. Ultimate Collision is a total rip off. I recommend going to a different autobody shop to get a price before believing this guys obscene prices.

At first I had a small problem that really wasnt good,I talked to Chris about my issue and he went over board to take care of my problem, also I would like to say far as the repair they done a excellent job on my truck, Iam very satisfied with the work and will recommend anyone to go here to get your repairs done here.I think a little communication will be good,thanks Ultimate Collision.
