**** STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.SAVE YOURSELF THE AGRAVATION**** I have nothing good to say about this establishment. I recently cancelled my account with this gym and it, took a total of 4 trips to get this accomplished. The stafff is by far the worst I have encountered, they have no knowledge of what customer service means, and their managers are just tools(useless tools) There are 3 supposedly but they somehow do not communicate with each other and whatever once says is overwritten by the next tool. I wish I had research this a little more before sigining up for a whole year. The company that collects their monthly payments somehow got a hold of my new credit card number without my permission and, the gyms response was "I dont know how that happen, here call ABC Financial and figure it out". I paid a full year and only was able to attend the gym twice, their class schedules are inconvenient very inconvenient for people that work full time, making it hard to attend, and when I could finally make it to their class, well...there was no parking because their parking lot is extremely small, and parking in the street is very difficult since the gym is close to residences. I am writing this and, well I am still trying to figure out how and who provided my financial information without my consent.

i was driving by saw this place, and since it was close to home i decide to check it out, i went in and it was loud (music was filled with the word nigga and was hood rap) and nobody was there to help me, i walked around asking the 2 people who were there if they worked there they said no, finally after 20 minutes a girl came to me with TONS of attitude and asked "is there something you want? this club is for members only" i attempted to get membership and facility info out of her but all she kept saying was "sign up for the membership and all the info will be mailed to you" after reading these other reviews ive made a call to the BBB and reported them, also i hope they enjoy the fact that i work in the city office, as they will be having many inspection visits soon.

HELLO to everyone thats looking into joining this gym, the personal training department is under new management.I am aware that they are pros and cons in every gym, and I am happy with all the negative reviews, as the new manager at Club Metro USA PERSONAL TRAINING Department, I take constructive criticism, and use them as a guide into correcting the problems... before you decide to let negative reviews stop you from the gym, please be your own judge and come and join me for a free 3 day pass, 1 free personal training and assessment, and then make your own professional decision..come and see me personally, NILSA Master Trainer/and nutritionist @ Club Metro USA. thank you for your time and hopefully Ill see you soon.

This gym is the worst. I called to cancel my membership they advised me that I had to come in the gym to cancel it. I told them i was out of state and could not do so physically. They then informed me that I would have to pay a month extra because im supposed to give 30 days notice. I told one of the office managers to go ahead and charge the card on file for that amount , now they are telling me that I owe $200 because I never cancelled the account. The worst gym ever. Dont go there. There are 2 Planet Fitness: 1 in Elizabeth and 1 in Linden. Plus the gym is small and dirty, and the machines always under maintenance.

Its a good gym its not that big I go there only at nights because doing the day there is to much people for such a small space the staff are cool they do there jobs the only had thing about that gym is that they close early they Carlose at 12pm and Saturday and Sunday at 7pm when they first open a few years ago they claim they was 24 hours but they never was 24 hours they use to close at 1am I get out of work late so I have to rush my work out because they close so early when my 1 year is over Im going to go find a different gym to join that opens 24 hours or more then 19 hours.

So decided I didnt like the gym after a year and decided to cancel my membership, I went in signed the papers. The lady said I would be charged one more time, mind you, dont even go there anymore, fine whatever, as long as its cancelled. A month later I ama charged again ! Filing a complaint against them as they are trying to scam me when the membership is suppose to be cancelled! If i didnt keep track of my finances they would continue to charge me ! Also every front desk person seems to have an attitude, dont get mad at me because you hate your job

As of 6/16/13, Ive been a member for two weeks. So far this club has just about everything I need. I have yet to encounter an problems with staff or parking. Ive only taken the spin classes and the teacher Alexandra is wonderful. Shell answer any questions youll have and correct your form. Yea the parking could be better but they are working with the space they have. My only real complaint is the lack of nutrition facts on the shakes (I count caloric intake via my fitness pall) and that theyre not open 24 hours during the weekend.

Probably one of the worst gyms I have ever been to. Cons: It is very dirty everywhere and you can tell that they do not maintain their outdated equipment. There is also an extreme shortage of weight plates which is a complete joke. You cant even use the machines half the time because there are no plates to put on! That is fine though Ill just do 800 reps for a set. Pros: It is only slightly better than your average Holiday Inn gym.

They have updated some of their machines. I like that they are now 24hrs and the staff and mgmt team are very helpfull. Ppl need to realize reviews are just advice but sometimes you just have to take a look for yourself. As for it being crowded it can be at times, so try off hours again they.are open 24 hrs during the week and they have plenty of parking nearby if their lot is full Happy with my gym :)

This gym was not as I expected. The promotions overlap each other. Their staff are so uneducated with no customer service skills and its manager...well it could use new management. Its staff members also lack their gym policy knowledge. Lastly, their equipment is never up to par and its always packed. I would not pay more then 10 a month. I really regret signing up with this gym. STAY AWAY.

Stay away!!!!! This is by far the worst establishment I have ever come across. The management is incompetent and can care less about how their rude staff treat customers. Equipment is often broken and it is not uncommon for treadmills to turn off mid-run. In the summer months this place gets hot like a sauna because they are too cheap to turn on the air conditioning.

They seem like a good gym at first, but the costs are ridiculous, they charge you more for no reason just so that one individual can make money off you and they take your money out of your account at any unwarned moment, also their contract cancellation is too high. But if you are a member and want to cancel its worth taking their BS month to month.
