I must say i have been almost every shift. And its not that the staff doesnt clean, i feel the cleaning staff there needs more training in the difference between cleaning and disinfecting. In the day time the is normally clean in part because i feel maybe the managers are there who " Care".... during the evening time there is someone who cleans but they dont disinfect the equipment nor the locker rooms. This gym needs 3 people clenajng at night. One in each bathroom and one on the floor at night. The equipment always has other people sweat and snot filled tissue. The cardio equipment ( stairmaster escpecially is always dried up and infested with someome elses tissue and sweat. There needs to be a flat screen television on ip above the mirror where the free weights are located at. Also the staff needs to be more customer service oriented. When you enter the gym no one greets u with a smile or nothing. Im seriously thinking about canceling my membership. And one day i lost my credit card and forgot to change the information with the gym and someone from customer service called me 7 times in one day after leaving 2 voice messages. I do believe this gym has great potential but they have 60 percent of the staff in the wrong positions. One day i asked the manage eric about what days they clean the jacuzzi and he didnt give a solid answer i was left lost and not wanting to get into the jacuzzi afraid that i was gonna enter a dirty jacuzzi. Eveytime i called there no one sounds like they are smiling on the other end of the phone. They sound just like they hate there job. There also isnt a juice bar. Overall i feel customer service is everything. I feel if this site doesnt step there game up by march they are gonna loose 20 percent of there memebers and thats not goid. Smh

Promo girl handed me a free trial membership card and I told her that I wouldnt leave unless they could match the price I pay at my gym ($30 a month at an equally nice gym with the same amenities and guest privileges). She got on the phone and talked to a manager and said that they could match the price that I pay. I called to verify on my day off with someone who also spoke to a manager and verified that they would be able to still do that seeing as they gym is closer to my job than home it was about a 40 minute drive to get there. I get there and they try and spin things on me. Guy over the phone said if I wasnt happy with the $99 down they could lower it to $29 down I get there, that is now back up to the $99 and the membership doesnt include guest privileges like he originally said. Even though he quoted me the price and what it includes, I make the 40 minute drive just to waste my time and give me the hard sell. Im glad you decided to BS me only then to be like "yeah I know what you were told over the phone but thats not true we cant actually give you the price we quoted you". Hopefully the owners figure out soon enough that these sleazy used car sales and type sales people that they have on staff are doing more harm than good for the reputation of their club. Its a shame because once you get past these clowns at the front door the club looks like it is actually very nice and well maintained.

Been going to this LA fitness since they open in April of 2016. I have lost 20 pounds of fat from 166 down to 146 and gain around 5 or 6 pounds of muscle now sitting around 152. Good gym that serves a purpose. The gym is huge for starters. After that they have a excellent layout in my book. The pool is hidden so people cant look in at you swimming. The dance studio is also very big but secluded. The looker rooms are clean most of the time, generally upkeep and it might look bad if the cleaning crew hasnt made a once through. The gym floor is pretty clean. Some paper towels around and gym equipment but nothing too bad or enough to stop a work out. There is tons of machines and the free weight area is very large also. I dont ever have to weight except for super peak hours. It is good in my book. Better then planet and retro. The outside parking lot is decent and only crowded at peak. It is starting to get a little dirty though. Hopefully it will be cleaned up by spring. Love this gym. (I dont shower here, I go home to shower. The locker rooms are decent)

i have been here and i must say so far the young woman at the front desk need customer service training. I have been there every shift and each time i get horrible customer service. If u all the gym they just say " hello" instead of a professional greeting: : thanks for calling LA fitness this is john doe How can i help you today etc. Its just horrible customer service. and even the membership consultants dont even remeber your name or the quotes they give you, it just puts a sour taste in your mouth and signals not to trust anyone there much less there Name ( LA fitness)... I do realize this is a new gym i did join but if this gym doesnt step there game up in 30 days im out. I hope and believe that the staff steps there game out. It would also be great to see someone putting the weight s int eh right place, and or cleaning off eqipument,

This place could be so great if it was just managed properly. I go in the mornings and so its never terribly crowded. I love my current trainer, Nuo Wei, and have really liked other trainers that Ive worked with, Alex most recently. The management and cleanliness is the problem. Until very recently, the parking lot was always filthy, the bathrooms are frequently dirty, the paper towel dispensers are often empty and dirty paper towels can be found on the machines. The personal training area is always in disarray, I think less from the trainers and more from the members coming into that area and using and taking the equipment. The fish rots from the head and from what I understand, the corporate office is not very together, so the gyms are not well run either. Too bad!! Its a great space. LA Fitness, get your sh!t together!!

Pros: *brand new equipment * good price *large gym floor *basketball court *cycling *racquetball *lots of cardio machines and weight lifting options *cleaning lady spotted every morning on the gym floor *rarely crowded early morning (6 am) or weekend evenings Cons: *still no WiFi months after opening *weird paper towel/foam dispenser (looks like hand sanitizer) for cleaning equipment - never used so there is dried sweat all over all the cardio machines. They need to upgrade to sanitizing wipes or a spray bottle cleaner with the paper towels. *extremely warm on the gym floor - like HOT. At least 10 degrees warmer than in reception area downstairs - even early morning at 6 am *no towels - on gym floor or in locker room, must bring your own *barely any classes offered *no kid care on Sunday

Beautiful gym with updated equipment. Nice amenities like a pool, sauna, hot tube, basketball court, racket ball, and free classes. They dont have towels which is no biggy, just being your own. This was my first time there and I will mention that compared to my old gym, people were much more "dressed." Im used to throwing on a beat up shirt and shorts which pretty much matched the atmosphere of most gyms Ive been to were people come ready to sweat and look ugly. One trip here made me feel like I need to consider ramping up my athletic wardrobe
