After having been a loyal customer for many, many years it is sad to see the quality of service go down so badly as the business has grown. The girls who do all the actual work have so much to do, they cannot take even a moment extra to see if perhaps something is not quite right. As a result I have gotten more and more shirts back with mysterious stains that were not there when I dropped them off; shirts that can basically stand on their own because of being over-starched; suits that have had to be re-pressed because they didnt take the time to align lapels correctly; and even missing garments altogether. The last straw came when they ruined a $600 suit by pressing the vent so quickly and so badly, the fabric and lining became misaligned and it no longer hung right. They claimed the lining "shrunk" - something that had never happened in previous times when they dry cleaned and pressed the same exact suit. To correct this - and without asking me first - they cut open (more like butchered) the lining as a workaround to make the vent drape properly. Then they stitched back the inner lining so badly it didnt even line up with the vent. There was a visible gap between the lining and the edge of the vent. On top of that, the stitching itself (not even the same color thread!) was now visible on the vent itself. To add insult to injury, the owner didnt even apologize or acknowledge any wrongdoing, instead insisting it was the lining that shrunk. More than the value of the lost suit, that nonchalant attitude is what bothered me more than anything. I am contemplating a small claims suit against them but I will probably only get a portion of the suits value, and not enough to replace. In the meantime I am taking my business (several thousand dollars a year) elsewhere, hopefully to a business that values its longtime customers better than Mid Atlantic Cleaners does.

Reliable and accommodating service. Never had any major issues with this service. I have been using them for years and have finally decided to write them a review because they deserve it after all these years. I have tried other services in the past, but have never found anyone with the same standard of quality, reliability, and accommodation. They always put their best effort forward to accommodate you with your schedule, cleaning needs, never jeopardize my clothes and they are reasonably priced. Once I had a misunderstanding with them, but they put their best foot forward to make an extra effort to find a resolution. This is the main reason I have been using their service all these years because they care about my business and value me as a customer.

After moving to the area a year ago I was in need of a dry cleaning delivery service and Im so glad I found Mid Atlantic Cleaners!! Not only is the service extremely convenient the level of care that they devote to my clothes is nothing short of remarkable. I cant think of enough good things to say about this service! When I receive my clothes the quality is nothing short of professional every time! I would totally recommend Mid Atlantic Cleaners to everybody!!!
