Really disappointed with this place. The sales reps are so aggressive its worse than trying to buy a new car. I get that they work on commission, but honestly, its a bit ridiculous. I went in to get an idea of the price, and was told on two separate occasions that there were no reps available and I had to come back another time. Finally spoke with a sales rep, then within the next two days they called me nonstop and left me 7 - yes 7 - voicemails... I returned with a coupon for a free trial and they refused to honor it, and the guy repeatedly tried to strong-arm me into a membership package I didnt want. If you like feeling like a piece of meat in a high pressure sales environment, this is the place for you.

Not even a member and had a terrible experience. Went to get a guest pass and the manager said I had to pay $25 because I was a member previously at a different location over 4 years ago, yet online their guest pass promotion states in fine print in order to receive a guest pass you must not have been either a guest or a member of the gym in the last 6 months. Its been over 4 years since Ive stepped foot in one of these facilities. I asked for the managers superiors information and he gave me a fake name while laughing about it with an employee at the front desk. Horrible management. I will never step foot in a 24 hour fitness again and will make sure I advise others the same.

Ive been working out my whole life and hands down this is the most poorly run gym ive been too. The members along with the manager and staff have no clue on how a gym is supposed to be run. Dumbell area is a mess, dumbells are scattered all over the floor and the ones that are in the racks are not where they are supposed to be. So you waste a lot of time searching for the ones you are looking for. The barbell plates are left on the equipment, no one reracks there weights. The locker room is gross. The majority of there equipment is made from a company Ive never even heard of, Hoist, pure garbage. With all this said dont waste your time going there.

Very unprofessional manager at this location so good luck trying to fix any error the sales rep. causes while signing you up. I came in to re-move an unauthorized payment that was charged to my card by the club for a sub--account after I was ensured the sub-account had been removed! The manager did not put any effort in trying to defuse my anger I towards the situation which the club created. She did not provide any alternative option for me to get my refund as if I was out of luck. sign up for this club your own risk!

Potential for a lot, but workers do not care about the gym. Weights are usually a mess. Some guy comes and blows his intestines out on the bathroom wall of the mens handicapped stall at roughly 7:30AM every day. Complained about the hot water for 5 days and employees keep brushing it off. NO HOT WATER FOR 5 DAYS AND COUNTING!!!!!!! Costs more than 2x the price for Retro Fitness in Tenafly, which I will probably be going back to if the water is not fixed by tomorrow.

Im a morning gym person. Workout, shower, and start my day. Shower here 5x a week. When it first opened in November, it was the cleanest. Since then its gotten disgusting. Ive spoken to staff numerous times and nothing happens. Have been told a manager will call me and nothing. Why charge 40+ per month? Gyms in area have SAME equipment.. whats the added value? I have pictures... not sure why Im unable to post.

Good classes, clean facility, wonderful staff. I appreciate that they keep the locker rooms a cool temperature during the summer. The gym in Paramus keeps their locker and class rooms warm and it gets pretty gross during the humid weather. They also have poor customer service. The Englewood Cliffs gym is not as big as the one in Paramus but ever since I started coming to this one, I rarely go to the Paramus gym.

worst gym I ever tried in nj. last night I was talking a shower and people from the gym turn the light out. not only that happens suddenly this fat lady appears and told me to leave the gym . very aggressive person thread me saying shes going to call the police if I dont leave fast.

Easily the filthiest gym Ive ever been to. EDIT: I came back to see the reviews on this place. I judge those that can actually say this is a clean gym. This has made me appreciate my regular 24 hour fitness so much more. I wont tell you which one to protect the cleanliness of it. Sorry.

Pool was closed since Mar. 23, 2017. Reason: Motor breakdown. Awaiting replacement ( management response when asked). When? My dues are collected every month, in exchange I expect that equipment ect. are maintained properly and when malfunctioned, replaced within reasonable time.

This five star for the lifeguard who work today May12,2017 at 7:30 pm. He is so kind to teach my son swimming without asking him to do so and without any rewards. If you read that man any time in the future i want to say thank you very much!

People use the pool with out taking showers after working out ! and lifeguards doesnt say anything because they are busy in there phones!! They should put a sign for people to take showers before using the pool!!

Big gym with a lot of equipment and dont have to wait for machines. Pool is small, not 50 meters, so it is better for water aerobics and not laps. The personal trainer I have is great.

Relatively well kept gym. Occasionally free weights and plates are strewn about but during peak times thats understandable. Bathrooms are generally clean and employees are cordial.
