I am very disappointed in this salon. I made an appointment online for a blow dry with Ray. When I come in he tells me he cant do my hair because its curly. Im sorry but if you dont know how to do different types of hair then you should not be a hairstylist. He told me the ladies that do curly hair arent working today. My hair is curly and wavy and Ive never had a problem with anyone doing it before. I will never come back to this salon again, I was embarrassed and I came from 30 minutes away to get my hair done, not only that I had an appointment and they could not accommodate me. I have gone to Arc a few times before was never treated like this. I left and went to Mayas Hair Studio next door, they took me as a walk in and had no issues blow drying my curly hair. I will be going there for now on.

THE BEST HAIR BLOW OUT HIGHLIGHTS AND HAIRCUT IN BERGEN COUNTY--PERLA--..i had been looking for someone in bergen county to give me a good blow out for months and it wasnt until perla did my hair for the first time that i knew i found a good hairdresser..she was awesome!! Weeks later i decided to do highlights on my natural hair for the first time and she did an awesome job.. I get complements on my hair all the time.. I feel pretty and girly again thanks to perla..her hands are magic and i must mention she gave me the best haircut ever!! She knows how to deal with all types of hair.. Yes she gives awesome blower for that curly hair... She will be my permanent hairdresser.. Im so glad i found her!!! So worth trying her:) i love my new look i am one happy camper and so is my husband!

I come here every two weeks to get my eyebrows done and they always do a great job so no issues/complaints with that. Ive also come a few times for a manicure but have mixed feelings about that. Ive always made an appointment but the last time I came on a Sunday, I had to wait over an hour despite the fact that I had an appointment because there was a walk-in right before me. I understand that as a business the goal is to make as much money as possible which means taking in as many customers as possible, but they really need to work on their planning. If I wanted to wait over an hour, I wouldnt have bothered making an appointment. The regular manicures are mediocre but for the price I guess its ok. I dont think I would come here for anything but eyebrow threading.

My low rating is for Eyebrow Threading. I have got threading for eyebrows done even since I started waxing in high school- about 16 years now. At ARC, I tried almost everyone, but ONLY the owner has done good eyebrows till now. Others dont do a good shape. Keep one thicker than the other- ALWAYS IF you tell them anything about it, some will try to help you, OTHERS will yell back saying it looks good. Well, I know what looks good and what not. Especially, a thick and thin eyebrow on the same face definitely doesnt look good! Now, I only go there when really required (because its close to where I live). Else, if I am visiting jersey city or edison, thats the place to be!!!!

I had an appointment for 4:30p.m. got there 15 minutes early, the receptionist told me to sit and wait for a little bit because the lady that was going to do my pedicure was finishing up with someone else! I waited until 5p.m. and they never took care of me, so unprofessional and I am very dissapointed since Ive been there before!! They see you sitting and waiting and they wouldnt ask if you are being helped, I am done with them! Before I left all the said was: "Sorry" My question is: Why do you make people schedule appointments if you are NOT going to take care of them on time????????????????!!!!!! They must learn how to be MORE proffessional!!!!!!!

This is probably the worst place ever. Some of the staff are rude the girl at the reception desk the the rudest. I went in ask to get my eye brows cleaned and left without eye brows. I then demanded to speak to someone since I was so disappointed and mad at the whole experience and they did nothing. The worst place to ever go. Lets not forget I also made an appointment to have my hair blow dried and I basically was told to cut all my hair off because no one knew how to deal with curly hispanic hair and the stylist tried to rush me out basically saying its either I cut my hair or no one can help me. Worst customer service, the worst place period.

I just read Kaitlin Lopezs review. What she said is thoroughly incorrect. I have been going to Ann for 10 years for eyebrow threading and full body waxing, since she had been working at another place in Hackensack. She is a woman of great experience and skill. I recommend her to all of the peers in my life and have never left unhappy. If anything, post pictures of your eyebrows, before and after the threading, to show the "mistake" that Ann made because I find it very doubtful that she could have made such a grave mistake. Let others judge if you actually have "no eyebrows".

I have been using Arc for so many years that I have seen Rays daughter grow into a fine young women. Ray does a great job on my color and high lights as well as my cut. He is so accommodating that if once I left I feet my hair needed a little more cut off, I just returned and he never charged any more. As for waiting times, sometimes he runs a little behind but I have waited much longer at other salons. All the workers have been nothing but friendly. And you cant beat the prices. Most other salons charge triple his prices and their work is no better

EVERYTHING IS UNDER ONE ROOF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They recently did a major renovation. Place looks very nice. Price was reasonable which is $6.00 for eyebrow, during the weekdays mani/pedi $20. It was really good. I also got a full head hi-lites with free haircut. My cost was only $120.00 It was amazing. I loved it. Now I am planning to get a fruit facial. With coupon( usually I get it from either facebook- they often update with promotional price or craiglist) $45.00. In average service is really good. I will go back again . Nuri

They dont know what they are doing! They pay their workers below minimum and expect them to deliver above average services. I made an appointment for makeup and the next day I get a call that there is noone available to help me on that day. Eyebrows are a nightmare! They love threading all the hairs off! This place is a hit or miss. And on top of that these Indian and Asian workers talk negatively about the clients without any knowledge that some clients UNDERSTAND their language. What a joke.

I have been going to Ann since I first moved to Northern NJ. I was scared at first (I needed to pick a new place to get waxed- which can be a daunting task at first) but she made me feel comfortable. I initially found her salon because my husband used to go to the same location, different owners, for his haircuts. I have recommended her to everyone at work as well as all of my friends. One of my friends even had her hair done there before her wedding. Great job!
