If you dont go on to read the rest of this, let me just start with- I have a great respect for hair stylists, as many of my friends are in this line of work. But the staff at this location are too incompetent to follow simple directions. If youre getting anything more than the product they sell at the front, I highly advise not going to this salon. So Ive been growing my hair out since buzzing it down last March and it finally got to a length that was long enough to get most of the pieces into a ponytail with only a few hanging out. The only problem was this really long, small portion of hair that stuck out in the ponytail further than the rest. The other thing I specified wanting to fix was having my hair the same length because it was mildly choppy from the growing-out stages, which would have still left my hair at a good length for a shorter ponytail. And thats literally all I wanted to get fixed. (I know I seem obsessed with this ponytail thing, but its really important that its not distracting me or falling out when Im playing soccer). I should have known my experience wasnt going to be a positive one, as the two women working didnt even present themselves or their hair in a positive manner. From my experience, stylists who dont care enough to make their own hair look presentable typically reflect that in their work. So I arrived at this place with my hair up and explained to whomever helped me EXACTLY what I wanted. As she was cutting, she made a comment that it wouldnt look good to cut off the little piece that I wanted shorter. I wasnt sure if it was on the top layer when my hair was down, but figured it was, as she was saying it wouldnt look right. So instead she suggests layers might help and starts giving me layers EVEN THOUGH I explicitly expressed that I wanted my hair all to be the same length when I arrived. When it was over, nothing that I wanted was accomplished. My long year+ of growing my hair out was stunted, my entire head was different lengths, barely any of my hair fit into a ponytail, and there was still one piece longer than all of the others! The kicker was- I went home and asked my girlfriend to fix the long piece that was bothering me. She saw that it wasnt visible while my hair was down and with craft scissors, fixed my only solvable problem. This was, by far, my worst experience at a salon- it takes a lot for me to take my time to write a review.

Ive been here a few times over the past 4-5 months and it has been ok. Some stylists were better than others. Im not picky about my cut so for the price it was good. Within the last 2 weeks I lost my sideburns at the discretion of my stylist. Not impressed but theyll grow back. Today I had a less then pleasesnt experience as the salon was busy and it was clear they were trying to push people out. Detail later. I wasnt looking for a cut. More of a clean up or trim if you will. When I asked for a trim I was discouraged as "theres not that much coming off". Subsequently told that my hair would not be the style I was asking for. Again, Im not picky about my hair I just want it to be neat... I wasnt looking for a cut- just a trim to make things look neat. She probably buzzed 2-3 parts of my hair and said its fine. A clip or two of scissor on top and I was told that its done. Total time in the chair comes in around 5 minutes or less. I paid and walked away. I tipped her even though I shouldnt have. Poor attitude with many of the stylists there - when I was waiting; a young boy sat down and wasnt sure what he wanted. The stylist says "Lets get Dad, I dont have time for second cuts or changes to your style - we are too busy for that." Wonder why they have "Stylists wanted" on the window..... Will not be returning.

Im pretty particular when it come to getting my hair cut and have found that it is impossible to get a great hair cut in Flemington. You can drive to Princeton and get someone who trained at sassoon to cut your hair for $50 for a guys hair cut which take about 18 minutes or you can pay $25 and get a hair cut that is worth about $10 at any of the local shops in Flemington or you can go to Great Clips and get a $10 hair cut for $5 if you go during the month of February. All in all, it about the only place in Flemington you can go without be ripped off.

Went to get a cheap, good quality haircut, but what i got was a huge line and a huge wait. The people working there didnt acknowledge me standing there so i just left. Most likely will never go there again.

Told me the wait was 60 minutes for online customers that were not there. Dingy and old place. Ending up going to SuperCuts on 31. Way better. Great haircut and no wait
