When we rented a space here, they were polite but not that friendly but it looked clean. We went to pick up a thing or two at our storage unit one day in the summer and the entire floor was pipping hot and humid (it is supposed to be climate controlled not controlled by the climate). We inquired about that incident on our next visit and they told us that "it was broken" without an apology. We pay for a year at a time to get the 13th month free. They did not send us a snail-mail or email bill but called to let us know that we are late paying after the due date. I called them right away and was only a few days late (not even a week) and they refused to let me renew on the 13 months basis until I have paid for a month separately first (that means I do not get a discount on that month plus have to commit to staying for 14 months to get the extra month free). They said, including the manager, that there is nothing they can do about it. I told them every place sends you a bill before the due date and they said whatever negotiations I did earlier there does not matter because they are not responsible for what happened before they (new company) took over the place. I told them when they take over a business, they inherit all the old policies at least until they give tenants notices of the change in policy. I had to call the regional office to get the renewal that I wanted. Then without telling me, they charged me a late fee. I still am waiting for a refund on the free 13th month which they wrote on the credit card receipt that they will give me credit manually. If nothing goes wrong, its a decent place to store your stuff. If something is not right, good luck! The way they run the place, to me is shady. I would have moved to a different mini storage already if I have had the time and energy.

I was looking for storage around the area since I was going to be traveling from ny to jersey, I found this location in fort lee, it looks pretty new, and when I went to the site I was greeted with a great hellooo, the location was very clean tge customer service was excellent and the room that I was shown was perfect, I wanna thank the manager at the site for helping me thru the whole process she made it pretty easy and simple to rent my room, my overall experience was great, I recommend this location and any extra space storage facility their definitely doing it better than any competitor out their. Thanks again

This store was so helpful and patient with me! After reserving a unit online, Jonathan called me within minutes to introduce himself. When I arrived Caroly took me up to look at the unit and when I decided it was too large she set me up with a different unit and went over all of my options. Im using the storage unit for work and couldnt figure out some of the information and she was patient and helped me out and never once did I feel rushed! Caroly was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend this company and this location to anyone who needs a unit!

Searched around all of Bergen County to find a storage facility that had nice/friendly/helpful staff! This is the place!! Tim and JP are knowledgeable and very helpful. From helping you over the phone to getting you set up, they were so prompt and efficient. When you speak to them, they walk you through all your options and help you choose the right storage that is suitable for your needs. I saved close to $100 every month based on their recommendation. I would highly recommend this place for your storage needs.

The staff here is excellent, I wish more businesses in the area were as customer centric as these people are. The facility itself is very clean and the equipment available to patrons to facilitate moving items are in good repair. The security system, pin pad entry and cameras let me know my unit is secure. The man that helped me is English/Spanish bilingual which is a plus for when my wife goes there alone. All around great and I would highly recommend to any one. Thanks a lot Jonathan!!

My organization has been with this storage company for 8 years and our experience has been nothing but satisfactory. We unfortunately will no longer be with this company because we are moving to a bigger space (where we can store everything there), but would definitely come back here if we need more storage space. Carly (Store Manager) is really chill and great to work with. Bittersweet moment.

Friendly office staff, who helped me choose the right size unit for me. Better price than online too, and flexible with reservations. When it was time to fill the unit, Id already been shown which door, how the code works, where to look for carts--all the details that meant an easy move. My first recommendation: downsize enough that you dont need storage. Second: use Extra Space.

My experience at extra space and been excellent! My job requires that I have a storage unit so I have been to MANY! This is by far the best customer service I have ever received. Not to mention the assistant manager Thomas Mosser couldnt be anymore helpful. I highly recommend this unit

This place is clean & seems safe. Cameras are @ strategic places & motion sensor lights. Jonathan was very helpful & professional. He walked me through the process which makes it easier for me to understand. I would highly recommend this place to family & friends.

The staff is very friendly, showed me different unit sizes and helped me to pick the size I needed. The facility has several entrances so it is easier and closer to your unit. The place is clean and well maintained.
