Our tractor trailer was disabled on the side of the road on I-95 with a bad brake chamber and slack adjuster. The first tow driver was unable to free the brake. Very pleasant man. Our driver, when contacted by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority was asked what method of payment that we had available, driver told her Comdata checks and Multiservice checks, instant money, virtually all companies take it. We did not have a choice of who or what company was coming. We did not speak to anyone or have a phone number to double check about method of payment or an amount, Bergen Brookside just showed up. When we finally we were able to talk to someone only method of payment was cash or credit card. Our drivers do not carry over a $100 and we did not have a credit card to use. When we told Bergen Brookside that we did not have cash or a credit card Bergen Brookside threatened to tow our tractor trailer. We asked Bergen Brookside several times an approximate amount so we could avoid our tractor trailer from being towed the reply was no "idea".When we asked how to tow etc. no "idea". It was determined that the tractor trailer had to be towed separately. Our driver drove with the first tow driver and the tractor because our driver had to go to a truck stop and cash the checks. Towing 1.6 miles and 1 hour of work cost over $500. Once the tractor brakes were fixed the driver hooked up to the trailer and did his walk around. One of the trailer tires was "destroyed" and cannot be repaired. It is funny, the tire was in good condition on the side of the highway when our driver was there. The only person that touched the trailer is Bergen Brooksides 2nd driver and somehow 1.6 miles later it was destroyed. Of course when we spoke to Bergen Brookside it was met with..... Well you can tell; otherwise we would not be writing this review. Very unprofessional and unethical company. Definitely will be filing a grievance with New Jersey Turnpike Authority.

My low mileage Chevy Impala was hit while parked and unattended at my daughters place of work and the front end was badly damaged. The young lady responsible left a note with her name and phone number as she did not know where we were. (Yes Diogenes, there are still some honest people in the world) Our insurance company, Plymouth Rock Holdings had their estimator meet with Andrew Geiger, Director of Automotive Repairs at Bergen Brookside Auto Body which is on the companys list of authorized repair shops and together they established an estimate, which included using new OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, not after market or used ones. Andrew gave me a tour of the facility and I must say , I have never seen such a clean, and well run repair facility. The shop is spotless ! The repair took only three days to complete and the car looks and drives as good as the day we bought it. They detailed the entire car for us also ! Looking back,the entire repair process was seamless and I praise the staff at Bergen Brookside Auto Body for their communication skills, craftsmanship and friendly service. Thank you Andrew, John, Rose, and all that contributed to restoring our car so well. !!!

It could of been an off night for the guy who was sent to pick me up but the driver was very rude. I was towed off the GSParkway and said I wanted to bring the vehicle to a location which was 1mile from his headquarters. The driver asked if I had AAA I said no so he said he only had to take me to the next exit and I had to call another service. I asked if he knew any other service Im not from that area he told me to google it. He dropped me off into the back of a dark parking lot. I asked what town it was he dropped me he snapped at me "I dont know." He Gave me my bill and sped off. I called his headquarters told them what happened. Headquarters said they were told that the driver had said I did not ask to be towed anywhere. And they were going to charge me an additional $100 + cost of mileage to put the car back on the bed. I called another service and was taken care of with satisfaction. His attitude and actions Cost me an additional $130 and lost his garage the labor to repair my vehicle and he lost the generous 30% tip I gave the other driver.

Their professionalism enabled me to feel – both before, during, and after the repairs – that I could trust them with my vehicle. Specifically, in addition to his professionalism, the manager Dash displayed a courtesy that went above and beyond what was the baseline requirement of a contractual relationship. In short, it is clear that Bergen Brookside’s staff care for their customers and are vigilant about the quality of their work. I recommend them in the highest terms.

Brookside did an emergency tow of my disabled vehicle. The following week they gently explained that the cars engine was shot and replacement costs would exceed the value of the car. I had the car towed to another shop and they confirmed the diagnosis. I called up Brookside to square up my towing bill and they charged a very fair price for the emergency towing. This despite my not spending any more money with them. Folks should give more business to such an honest and compassionate business.

AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING service! My car battery died at the Bergen Towne Centre and called Brookside for a jump start. They came within the hour like promised! The gentleman (didnt catch his name) was so nice, knowledgeable and helpful during my small crisis! He explained everything thoroughly to me (I dont really know much about cars). I would DEFINITELY call them again and recommend them to others! Thank you so much for your help!!!

Getting your car towed is a never a great experience but the charges were very reasonable; I didnt feel taken advantage of and the people there were very professional and even helped to clean the snow off the vehicle.
