I brought my car in for a full body paint job from an insurance claim. *My first interaction with Centro was by a rude and obnoxious receptionist. *They did not replace all the grill which the insurance company paid for until I asked them to on the 3rd time. *They promised to have my car complete within 5 days. 5 days later, I called (they NEVER called me), they said it was 5 business days, not 5 days. 2 more days later, I called. They said they need another "few days". 3 days later I called. They still need 1 more day. 12 days later they dropped the car off to me, with the job not complete. *They brought my car back to me and they didnt paint some areas. (1st time they brough it back, they didnt paint the roof, rear quarter panel, and a door) When they brought it back again, they only painted the door and the quarter panel. The third time they brought it back, they didnt paint the roof. *They DID fix one small ding for free that was not included from the insurance company. However, they MISSED 4 dings that WAS covered. *My Insurance company got involved because Centro never converted my claim to State Farm, probably because the shop wanted to try and get extra money from me. *First time they brought my car back, the gas tank was empty, and the gas light on. Not knowing if I filled it or not, I PURPOSLY filled the tank before returning the car the second time. When they brought the car back the second time, the tank was empty. I even brought this to Centros attention, and they just shrugged thier shoulders. I filled it a second time, and sure enough when I picked up my car the tank was empty again. I even showed them the cas receipts. The reply they gave me was "We dont know whos receipts they are. We dont even know which car was filled from those receipts." *The final time I picked up the car, when driving back from the repair shop, a car cut across the road in which I needed to stop short. MY BREAKS FAILED. I also noticed other problems such as my transmission changing gears randomly, and random numbers appearing in the electronic display. A couple of days later, tons of smoke started pouring out from my hood. I pulled the car into a nearby station who explaine that the battery shorted out, and was putting out the wrong voltage, "probably due from extensive overheating or repetitive discharging and recharging". Then the next question they asked me was "Did you recently bring the car to a repair shop?" My jaw hit the ground. *When I finally picked up my call, they provided me a warantee for the work. About 2 weeks later, I noticed the paint was chipping off from various areas around the car (fron bumper, hood, roof, side of the car, etc.). I brought the car back and the shop told me that the warantee doesnt cover this as the new chipping paint could be from new damage from pebbles or other debris from recent driving. *A year later, the car looks worse then when I brought it in. The grill they finally installed is loose and paint is missing from all over the car. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. Oh, and Annetta, the person who gave 5 stars, works at the repair shop. I spoke with her on multiple occasions.

I see it like this if you want the job done right you have to pay the price. what good is it to be given a cheap estimate if a few weeks later you are going to end up with the same problems. i personally think that centro auto body does a phenomonal job with their repairs. @ shalimak seems to me like you are really selfish. no one has control over how long it takes to repair a vehicle, maybe the parts were on back order, and im pretty sure that your vehicle wasnt the only vehicle they were working on. as i read your review i notice that not once did u complain about the work they did on your vehicle, so therefore they must not be that bad of a body shop, just seems to me like you just wanted things done your way, if thats the case you should of went to burger king :0P ... i got my vehicle fixed there and i have no complaints. just like you shalimak i was told that my vehicle would be ready within a few days but once they removed the bumper they realized there were other damages with would prolong the repair process. i knew that if i wanted the job done right that i would have to wait so i didnt mind. @ Rehan sometimes by looking for the cheapest price you get cheap work done, mayb they discovered other damages that needed fixing which raised the estimate price. just because we are customers doesnt mean we have to be inconsiderate with the people who are trying to help us. if you guys had any problems with the staff then you shoulf of spoken to the manager or the owner. i on the other hand have no complaints i got my car back in great condition and i havent had a problem since i got it. i highly recommend everyone to take their cars for any body work there. you wont be disapointed!!! well only if your selfish and inconsiderate :0P

Just took our new car to paint the rear bumper that was scratched pretty badly. Our insurance agent highly recommnded this place. Now I understand why. They did such a good job that I couldn not tell where were the scratches. Even though we were somewhat unsure whether we should do "Blending", rather than painting the whole bumper, we were so pleased from the result. While other auto body repair shops "scared" us that "blending" would not look good, and we better paint the whole bumper. At Centro Auto Body they did not insist to paint the whole bumper, but that "Blending" would look good as well, and they were right. Great service, very professional, reasonable prices for the work they did and took them only a day to do it.

How is this company still in business. They are rude, obnoxious, and act as if they are there to do YOU a favor. As if you should be greatful you are allowed to give them your money! To top if off this place is a scam. They lie and cheat to trry to get one over you. They will tell you one price, and come up with all these additional items that cost more. They lie when youre going to get your car back, and the job they do is terrible. They made me feel like if I didnt keep paying them more, I couldnt get my car finished, and wouldnt get the car back.

My first experience here was great. I came in with a foot long scratch on the front end of my new car. I thought it was going to be an expensive paint job. The owner came out, and recommended we try sanding and compounding the scratch first. He offered to do it on the spot. Good as new! The whole thing took 10 minutes max. The charge was reasonable and when I was short 50 cents of the total in cash, he just took a dollar off the total. Friendly, honest, and helpful. What a local business should be. Id certainly return with my auto body needs.
