I have a wonderful experience with business. I have a Mazda 3 that has a strange issue. It is still have 6 months of warranty left but a quick review search and phone calls indicate that the Mazda dealers in Brooklyn and Staten Island are at best unreliable. After reading various reviews, I decide to try my luck at 15th St Auto Body yesterday. When I made a call to this place, the person answering the phone was upfront with diagnostic cost, and that there could be limitations on how much they could assist with my concerns. We went there any way because my wife was concerned about me drivinga car that has an engine light lit all the way to a Mazda dealer with NJ that has decent reviews. When we got to this place, we were surprised by how orderly and relatively clean this car body shop is. I receive service immediately even though it was a Saturday. The technician was polite and most willing to share his experience and information. In 15 mins or so, he was able to address my issue even though it was an unusual one. He even went on to check on my tries and fix a lever for my boot cover that has popped off at no extra cost. I learn that this auto body shop is a family run business operated by its 2nd and 3rd generation members. Joe appears to take much pride in that his sons are running the shop well, and the quality of the work they were able to provide. I enjoy interacting with his son who is about my age, very polite and honest. I believe I have found an auto body shop that I can rely on to help me address issues with my car in the future when I am in a crunch.

I have a newer Jeep Wrangler that needed the front bumper replaced. I went to a Jeep dealership in Manhattan and one in Greenwich, Connecticut. There was a bit of underlying damage to the frame and both dealerships told me the bumper alone, with labor, would be about $1,200 to $1,500. And with the frame work it could be as high as $3,000 for the repair. Upon the advice of a friend I went to a "good auto body shop" to get an estimate. I looked on Yelp and found 15th Street Auto Body in Brooklyn. They were super friendly on the phone when I called. I contacted them on a Friday and asked if they could get the job completed by Monday morning. A tight timeline, but they said theyd see if they could source the parts and would call me back to let me know if it was possible. 30 minutes later I got the call and they said they could do it. To make a long story shorter, I got my frame and bumper (and fog light) fixed, in 48 hours, with a used but mint condition bumper, all for $760. They were completely up front with the costs and the turnaround time. I got calls when the part came in and when the job was done. Great service and work. I highly recommend 15th Street Auto Body in Brooklyn.

We went to 15th St. for the first time when the whole side of our new car was gouged out. They did a beautiful job and quoted a fair price. When a carpenter dropped a cabinet on our hood, we took the car back to them. Its a family business and Joe Senior and Joe Junior are dedicated guys. Not only are they straight talkers, they are perfectionists at their trade. Body work is not something you may ever want to have to have done, but if youve ever seen poor workmanship, it often has small lumps and bumps or leaves buffing circles in the paint that show up every time the sun shines. These guys tell you the limitations of the materials, when a part is metal and can be worked, versus when a panel is fiberglass and should be replaced. Their quotes are honest and they dont overbook, so when you bring your car in, they can always take the time to walk you through your options, and theyre not salesy....they dont have to be, they do great work.

Went in with a dent and scratch down to the metal on my quarter panel that had started rusting after a few months. I was paying out of pocket and they took a look and quoted a very reasonable price to fix it. After a few business days, they called me and let me know it was ready. Now you wouldnt be able to tell it had ever been damaged... very good work and pleasant people to deal with.

Joe seemed like a nice guy when he gave me his quote but he completely deceived me on the completion time. He kept my car so long that my loaner car bill costs hundreds of dollars more than my auto body bill. They are a Geico shop, so if you have another insurance carrier, walk away. The work quality was mediocre as well. I wish I had never brought my car there.

ot more than 2 weeks later from my last visit I got rear ended on in VW Jetta. Needed rear bumper replaced and dent fixed. Once again Joe and his staff worked miracles. They are true craftsman and their prices are very very reasonable. They work quickly without any hassle. If you need an auto body shop in Brooklyn they are the best!
