This is a rip off place. Got all my rotors , brakes, brake fluid done by Firestone jersey city coz they offered "lifetime warranty" at least that how they explained the warranty at the time of sale. Now within a year brakes arent working so I got them checked at Nissan Dealership & another auto service center and both confirmed that brake pads needs to be replaced and rotors can be used by smoothing them out... Time to go back to firestone jersey city, first they made an unsuccessful attempt of overcharging me with $120 as labor if only rear brake pads needs to be changed. He could NOT deny reducing it to $60 as I already got a quote of $60 before telling him about warranty claim. Now they checked the vehicle and came back saying ALL the rotors are in pretty bad shape and must be replaced (THAT"S CHEAP PRODUCTS THAT THEY USE)... Person helping me says it the weather and generally the firestone rotors CANNOT BE SMOOTH EN even once because the quality is CHEAP (giving an example of potato chips packet which used to have more chips in a big earlier and now a days company is making profit by selling less quantity in each pack.. I dont know how to relate it with current situation) .... SO THEY THEMSELVES SAID THAT ITS THE CHEAP PARTS THEY USE.... then the manager says Nissan showroom and the other service centers are both incorrect... and I will have to change the rotors if I want to get brake pads changed under warranty... So their warranty is a rip off.. and they are liars... I am going to go back to the dealership again to ensure I still have the same rotors (i dont believe them) ... They will say what you want to hear about the warranty on the work they do but will NOT let you get the warranty ... NEVER GO TO FIRESTONE

HE STORE MANAGER THERE WAS THE RUDEST PERSON I EVER MET. I simply wanted to get my brakes and wheel allignment done, and he then proceeded to make me sign for the work when I asked him how much the work would cost. Mind you I called the day before to have this information ready the next day, and his excuse was " well our vendor is closed so youre gonna have to wait". A real business would have had this information ready the day before instead of making me drive there when im omw to work. On top of that his body language showed he shows no care for his customers. Also I am not gonna sign any paperwork if i dont know how much the work is gonna be. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. The service is horrible and while waiitng in line, you can tell one his their employees dont seem too happy about their boss either. That says alot about a business! Next time Firestone Jersey City, treat me like a customer and not some ghetto lowlife. Thank you . Aka a customer you lost.

I worked here when I first moved up here for about 8 months until I got a job in the city. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. I was the only honest person working here once the old manager left. Lots of mess ups and misdiagnosed cars made for a very stressful working environment. Also, the store manager takes bribes from other local businesses. If you take your car to one of the places that he recommended, he gets compensated for it. He does this regardless of whether or not they are a trustworthy company.

I had a really great experience here. When I needed a car repair on a Sunday no one was open except PepBoys & them. I was told there was like an 8 hour wait to get a simple repair done at PepBoys 440 JC. I left there unsatisfied with their response and found my way to Firestone the same day. They completed the repair to my car in like 2 hours. They were very professional & accommodating. Really great service. I would recommend anyone needed a car repair in Jersey to stop by Firestone.

Tom was friendly and straightforward. I called to check the wait and quoted a price. I was in and out for a battery change in less than 30 min. 9/20/16 Came back in for check engine light. Quoted $100 with taxes, etc for diagnostic. Found out it was a loose gas cap. Did not charge me. Im happy to save money on something so silly and thankful that they are honest and decent people. Feel like I regained faith in humanity when I walked out of there.

horrible service. they gave me a new tire, the very next day the tire is already losing air and needs to be pumped. then they had the audacity to tell me everything was fine after pumping it, without even trying to do the necessary changes to see what was wrong with it; they tried to say I couldnt return it since they couldnt find that anything was wrong and they were the upset ones. unbelievable

These are the most honest mechanics Ive ever been too. Ive been multiple times, sometimes for things that were too complicated for them to fix. They wouldnt even bill me for taking a look and were super helpful with finding another shop to do the job. Never tried to upsell me on a bunch of stuff I didnt need, which is hard to find.

Lack of Attention to detail...told them to get rid of my brake warning light - it is still there even after they replaced the lights!! Going going back there to wait for another 2 hours. Plus a rip off...you are better of going to smaller mom & pop garages in Jersey City - get better attention and better value for your money.

Horrible Customer Service. I called and asked the wait time. Katie Moore (manager), said there was none. So I took my car and I was standing there 20 mins and no one attending to my car. Most employees were standing there doing nothing. When I politely asked, she was rude!! This Firestone is NEVER getting my car again.

They will rip you off at all costs. Told me I needed more then I did at double the price. Ended up taking my car to a family mechanic who said with labor it shouldve been half what they told me. This is not the first experience I had like this there either.
