I hope I never have to deal with this branch of FedEx ever again! There was a huge mix up with the address that was on file for my package to be delivered that I wasnt aware of. I received a voice message this morning indicating that the address that Fed Ex had on file wasnt valid and to please call them back. I did so, and I explained to the representative that I never made an address change, and that I wasnt aware of any changes. She in terms told me to hold and I did so, then the call was disconnected. At this time, I was at work and was unable to try and call back right away. When I took my break, I noticed that I had another voice message from Fedex. This time, it was from the previous representative that I spoke to before the call was lost. She was very nasty and unprofessional with her tone of voice and the information that she left on my voice message. She indicated that I made an address change, and that I need to call my insurance company that was sending the package through Fed Ex, that I will be fined, also to not call back again! I was confused and completely disrespected. I called her back to try and figure out why she was so nasty to me, and explained that I honestly didnt know what was going on because I truly hadnt made any changes especially an address change. I asked her what her name was, and I was left with Moreen. I am very disappointed in Fed Ex for this experience. I will not recommend anyone to deal with this branch at all.

I was tracking my package and saw it was at this despicable location waiting to go out the next day, so I called their number and asked if I could just go and pick it up since I wouldnt be home the next day and didnt want my expensive package on my porch in the impending snowstorm. I was asked by the CS rep for my tracking number, he looked it up and said, "No problem, just bring in the tracking number and an official photo ID." I was very pleased and went over right away. Upon arriving I talked to this decrepit, old, rude, fat lady and told her that I wanted to pick up my package. She looked up the tracking number and then said, "Nope, you cant have it." I told her I called them and was told it would be no problem as long as I had photo ID, and she said in a tone that made me shake with rage, "Theyre wrong, the call center workers are wrong all the time." Shes very lucky because I was within seconds from raging out, but I decided Id rather not go to jail. She then asks me if I wanted them to hold it so I turned around and said, "Absolutely not, I dont want my package anywhere near you anymore, and I definitely dont want to have to come back and see you, so just deliver it. And thank you for wasting my time, and gas." I highly recommend staying far away from this place, the worst customer service Ive EVER experienced. She didnt even apologize once for this humiliating inconvenience.

Based on reviews I was surprised to receive adequate assistance with my issue. Our company shipped a Priority Overnight package to our customer in Toms River, NJ with "No Signature Required" noted on the order. It was not delivered due to "Customer Not Available or Business Closed". We knew of this issue beforehand, which is why we requested no signature. Upon calling the customer service line I was transferred to the Lakewood facility and spoke with Joanne. She was actually kind and helpful when explaining that it is FedEx policy to require signatures when delivering to a business. I feel like that could be a pop up notification when selecting "No Signature Required" to help inform shippers beforehand of any potential delays when shipping to businesses.

Dumbest thing I have ever heard.....Package is 10 miles from my house, and it will not be available for 3 days. I can not even pick it up at the service center its currently located at. How can you claim you scanned the item in at the location via the tracking tool and then tell me over the phone its on a locked truck that you dont plan on unloading for days. Terrible customer service representative to boot. Way to go !!! If I had a choice in who shipped this I would have chosen someone else. I never had this issue with UPS.

I ordered a shipment of wine from a merchant, not realizing that a signature would be required for delivery. When I found the delivery attempt notice from FedEx, I called and asked to have the delivery changed to Saturday. Well, it is now Saturday, I have been trapped at home all day on this beautiful day, and my wine has not shown up. I am planning to have it returned to the merchant, as this is a poor customer service experience all the way around, and UPS will be my shipper of choice after this.

FedEx drivers totally ignore your delivery preferences as to where you want your packages left. They leave boxes placed on their sides when there are clearly arrows that say "this side up". And when they leave boxes under the doorbell, they cant be bothered to ring the doorbell to let you know perishable goods are sitting out in the heat. I try to avoid FedEx deliveries as much as possible because of this, but many shippers dont give you a choice.

From my experience, FedEx is absolutely amazing and some people just need to be patient about it. I had problems with the manufacturer but once I got three day shipping, the thing flew from California, to Indianapolis, to NJ. I was so surprised to how fast it was arriving and some people just expect too much from a shipping company, but FedEx does it right!

My package reached this FedEx, then managed to get lost. The same thing happened to another one of my family members a couple months ago. Im not sure what goes on at this branch but these people are simply incompetent to performing their work.

Sent my package back after I called to have it held at this location, which was due to them not delivering to a valid address in the first place. Sent back to Newark and they know that but cant help get it to me now. Incompetence everywhere.

Pretty good FedEx location, but for some reason a higher than average population of customers shipping packages where the cardboard is just there for aesthetics, its really just miles of tape holding the insides in. You know the type.

Was told that they dont hold packages after my shipment was refused, isnt that their whole job? Why would they send a shipment away when its so close to its destination! Last time I deal with them EVER!!!
