What happened to the USPS???? I have lived in Lyndhurst the last 10 years and the post office is absolutely ! Not a week goes by, that I dont receive numerous letters meant for other folks, some down the block, but others a mile or 2 away. Seriously, this happens every single week! The postal delivery folks are slobs as well, dropping and littering the sidewalks with those elastic bands. I followed a guy the other day, and he just kept dropping them every 10 feet or so. Really, are you too lazy to bring them back to the office? What a pig! Just last week, I went online to request that they hold the mail for 10 days while I was on vacation. I set up my account, and received a confirmation email with a confirming number as well. When I returned home, all my mail (and some other peoples of course) was overflowing my box. Luckily, I have a couple neighbors that picked it up and saved it for me. Hopefully within a couple of years our government will pull the plug on this disaster, and save all of us taxpayers a lot of money for this terrible service. No wonder they are getting "their lunch eaten" by Federal Express and UPS. PS..... I wish their was an option for 0 stars

if there was an option to rate 0 stars i WOULD!, this post office has THE nastiest employees! ive had my share of packages LOST packages, ive received packages for ppl that live across town, the mail is always in the wrong mail boxes, mind you my boxes are labeled with everyones names, my mail often comes wet, or tarnished, ive been in town for over 6 years. ALWAYS have had an issue. last Christmas i Lost 2 packages , when i called to complain the "supervisor" mark actually accused me of stealing My own packages. why would i go out of MY way to steal my own package and the report it to them? spend hours on the phone with them. so i reached out to cooperate and complained, someone from the main brand in Rutherford called me and fixed the problem thank god. I never dealt with such rude, mean and disrespectful people in my life.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE POST OFFICE. We put a change of address in to this post office a month and a half ago, and we still have not received our mail. I contacted them 2x, and the first time the employee I spoke to went to search for our mail and found some. He said he was holding my brand new credit card envelope in his hand, and I would receive it in a week. That was over a month ago. The credit card company called me back and said they have it now. I followed up and spoke with Ellen and she said she would get this rectified and call me back by the next day, and I still havent heard from her. That was a couple of weeks ago. These people are clueless idiots.

By far the worst post office in the state. Not the workers that work inside but the postal couriers. They dont sort the mail, leave bins filled with packages all mixed up by address including tons of empty ones and say items are delivered via tracking when they arent. I even had someone call from there saying that I had to pick up my package because they said it was over weight, it was 18lbs. And according to the main postal center office there are no weight limits. Then people wonder why the post office gets a bad rap these are prime examples and for god sake do you job seriously, have some dignity.

Went to deliver something I asked a question because I rarely mail stuff and the guy behind the counter was the nastiest person Ive ever dealt with!! He was screaming and shouting not letting me get a word in about my question!!! He must of known someone to get that job! No one in there right mind should of hired him!!!! Next time Ill go to Rutherford!

I have dealt with the Lyndhurst branch many years for my office. They have always been professional. They get there job done timely and efficiently. Just called and the phone service good as well. Spoke to Chuck who was polite and made sure he went out of his way to try to assist me. P.S. I really dont ever give out 5 stars.

THIS POSTAL OFFICE IS THE WORST, THEY CONTINUE LOSING MY PACKAGES, IS THE LITTLE ONES THAT ARE ALWAYS LOST, I AM SERIOUSLY THINKING SOMEONE THERE STOLE THEM, I CALLED AND NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING, DESPITE OF THE ALERTS I GET SAYING THE PACKAGES WERE ACCEPTED BY THE POST OFFICE, THEY SHOULD BE AN INVESTIGATION THERE!!!!

They discriminated harshly against a woman mailing packages to her daughter, a US soldier serving in Afghanistan, no less. Why? Because she had a thick accent. Think twice before going there.
