My name is Bob Novey. I own Dileos Auto Service in Norristown PA. Ive been in the auto repair business for 25 years. Three years ago I purchased a house in ventnor. I keep a vintage dune buggy at my house and drive it down the shore. I stop by the station to get gas when needed and thats when I met Steve. We talked and I explained that I also own a gas station/ service center as well. His family atmosphere is very similar to the feeling you get when you visit my station. We talked and enjoyed a few moments.. I thought "what a nice guy" Every year I bring the buggy back to my house in Blue Bell and service it. This year when my staff inspected it, then made a mistake and adjusted the front brakes too tight. When I got in the buggy on Memorial Day weekend to take the kids for a ride, immediately I knew something was wrong. I drove over to see Steve and asked if it was even possible for him to put it on his lift and check it. After all, it was a Saturday and a holiday weekend....he was VERY BUSY. He asked if he could call me if he had a cancellation. I gave him my cell and drove back to my house. 45 minutes later he called me and asked if I would bring it over. When I arrived, he immediately put my buggy on his lift, and identified the problem. His knowledge of old cars immediately impressed me. He adjusted the brakes and fixed it quickly and efficiently. He INSISTED that he would NOT accept payment for his services instead offered me a bottle of cold water and told me he appreciated my business. Truthfully, thats exactly how my staff would of handled him of the roles were reversed. Both our services centers are the last of a dying breed. We both offer personalized friendly and fair customer service. I couldnt of been more appreciative. My daughter is staying down the shore and working this summer. If anything is required for her car, she knows who to see for fair and courteous service for her car...!!! Thank you again to Steve and the excellent staff of Sunny Sunoco. Great service is alive and well in Margate NJ..!!!! Please dont hesitate to stop by and see them. I give them my highest recommendation...:-))

Hands down the worst mechanics in ALL of South Jersey!! If you want kids with a 2nd grade reading comprehension level working on your car this is the place for you! Not only are they incompetent theyre also extremely rude and could care less about you as a customer. Yesterday I got a screw stuck in my tire so thought Id take it over there to patch it up. First of all they charge $50 to patch a tire!!!!! THAT IS UNHEARD OF! Any decent mechanic would not charge anything for a patch and the ones that do rarely charge over $25. They think theyre the only station on the Island and they can get away with it (go to Gulf a few blocks down. Great people there). While Im waiting for them to fix it I have to listen to the owner and one of his employees get in a screaming match and almost come to blows in front of about 5 customers. Most unprofessional setting Ive ever been in. They were literally about to fight each other. Moving on in the 5 minutes they had control of my car the employee who was fighting with his boss gets in my car while still extremely angry with his boss and slams down on my brakes and broke my brake line. I was there for 10 minutes for a tire patch and they managed to break my brake line , pretty impressive. They then come over and tell me my brake line broke and its not their responsibility.....This actually happened. Brakes 100% fine driving in, they have the car for 10 minutes and break the brake line. Take zero responsibility. Most Mickey Mouse operation Ive ever dealt with in my life. Sad that businesses like this stay in business cause theyre the only game in town. I IMPLORE YOU IF YOU NEED WORK DONE ON YOUR CAR OR GAS AND YOU LIVE IN MARGATE, VENTNOR, LONGPORT PLEASE GO TO THE GULF STATION DOWN THE ROAD. No I am not an employee of Gulf. I do appreciate great customer service and people who treat you fairly and know what theyre doing. Do not give this Sunoco business if you value these things at all. These crooks deserve to be out of business. I will be picketing all summer. Stop by and say hi!

OMG, new to the area and now a permanent resident, everything seems to be coming at me at once and I feel like I am drowning, and along comes Sunny Sunoco! I cant begin to tell you the feeling of warmth I received there and immediate trust in the three I met, Steve, Katherine and (with whom I am in love:) Salvatore! They treated me with such sincere kindness and complete care..... I knew when I left that not only did I have new friends; I had a comfort level of care for my car.......and for me, if needed. I would call upon them for help and advice of any matter in any way. If you are looking for some "warmth" in relationships with people with whom you deal in a business way or any way.....look into Sunnys. I am a new person. My car is 100% in shape and now in the trusted hands and advice whenever needed from "Steve." If you havent met him, you are missing a lot in lifes pleasures of knowing really --one honest, loving man. I know I may sound a bit over the top here....but, sorry, that is where they put one...over the top in friendship, care and trust. They will be one of my comforts now with my new life here.....my car is in good hands!

This place is great. I was nervous about going to have my car fixed at a place that I did not know and skeptical that I would be overcharged given that they are located in an expensive neighborhood (Margate, NJ). My mind was at ease when we actually took the car here. 1st - one of the owners is a woman, as are some of the other mechanics/employees - this made me feel a lot better. 2nd - it is a family-run operation with close ties to the community, so you can feel good about spending your money there. 3rd - they did not make me feel silly for not knowing about the cars problems, and in fact I was comfortable asking questions without fear of being ripped off. In all, I trust them and will return again!

Great place to have work done!!! We have brought three different vehicles there over the last two years, for repairs ranging from a broken coolant line, A/C troubles, oil changes, and steering vibration. In each and every case, they made an appt. in less than 24 hours, performed the work flawlessly, and were cheaper than what we paid for similar repairs back home!! All while we were at the beach! And they even refused to charge us when it turned out that nothing was actually wrong with the A/C, even after draining and refilling the system! We now "save up" repairs to be done there when we can, instead of at home! Highly recommended!!!

My wife was stranded in Atlantic City over three hundred miles from home (Boston,MA) with 3 of her girlfriends as part of a 40th bday trip. I was still home in Mass-Well, after a nightmarish experience with AAA. & a tow truck wrangle; Everyone from Sunny Sunoco made everything better, and all over the phone-Never having met any of us. Katherine, Steve and everyone else took care of all her (and my) worries. Never in my life has any business treated us more like a family than a customer. If youre ever in need of auto service or you just want to get gas. Theyll make sure you feel more at home than your mama!
