This school is not a school. This location does not carry out what is in the brochures of this franchise.... Other locations where the owners are present or the staff truly have passion for children and education are better. This Montvale, NJ center is missing passion. The majority of the staff treats their position as a basic job and not a career. Being around children and schools requires passion which will translates to giving a child a great experience about pre-school or preparing for post pre-K. This location is a baby sitting center if you want your kid to just be watched and mingle with kids that demonstrates that they are use to having no structure or manners. The teachers are not teachers. This place does not do a good job of screening their staff. They need to do more background checks and drug testing. Overall the majority of the staff members are not happy and it shows on their faces when they are interacting with the children... The tones that are being used in the classroom are unacceptable...Yelling at children is not good...the school need to train their staff on positive reinforcement and better tone management......When the teachers are asking the parents if they know of any jobs there is indeed a major issue.......probably since they are are short staffed it is stressing out the staff. Most of the staff are not certified and does not seem engaged. They are shuffled around a lot which is not organized. The one lead teacher is not focus since she is probably underpaid and she works 2 jobs and will rush out of the school to go to her second job which will leave no time to talk to parents. The management team needs integrity and business classes on how to be professional. Lying about matters should not be accepted in any child care or school environment when it comes to the management or teachers. The management team changes, but not for the better. The management team is more concern with covering the daily liabilities or major concerns that take place instead of being honest and dealing with the re-occuring innocents that take place by enforcing their policy hand book or dealing with the staff member that might need training or help. The management team will treat the parents as the problem when the parents are bringing up valid concerns that are taking place and will scar or impact a child. The lunches are processed and made in microwaves. The school gives a hard time for a parent to bring a more healthy lunch for their children.... Doctor notes should not be required so your child does not have to eat poor food especially processed in the microwave. Snacks consist of chocolate chip cookies and crackers. The leap books are rushed and most of the times are missed being completed since the classrooms are mis-managed and needs better classroom management.

As a first time mom, returning to work when my maternity leave ended was not something I was looking forward to. After doing extensive research and visiting many daycare centers near both home and work, my husband and I decided on The Learning Experience in Montvale, NJ when she was 5 months old. My daughter has been enrolled here for over a year and a half and she absolutely loves it! We could not be happier with our decision. From the infant rooms to the toddler room, she has encountered such loving and caring teachers. Knowing that she is being taken good care of, learning a lot and having so much fun each day is so important. It’s so easy to drop her off each morning and see her smile and run over to hug her teacher. The Learning Experience is so lucky to have Miss Raven, Miss Laura, Miss Karrah, Miss Nicole, Miss Krista and all of the other caring and talented teachers on their staff. I could not be more grateful for the care and attention she is getting there and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality daycare center!

My son was just 2 yrs old. Teachers used to punish him severely . Shout at him that made him scared. He used to twist his fingers( both hands) and also his mouth when scared. He just cannot talk. When I take him to daycare he does not want to enter class room. All these he developed in this daycare. I had seen a teacher yelling and pulling kids by one hand of kid roughly. Here injuries are never reported. Teachers blame each other. My son had head injury and it was never reported. It was a heavy injury and blood was bluish. When asked teachers no one is aware and say next teacher/ previous teacher. Front desk were not worried or helping to find the cause. When asked to check cameras there was no effort made. Janet just makes faces without listening After two days they came up with a self made accident report of shelf hitting my sons head. Why do they have security cameras that cannot be shared ? This place , teachers, front desk and management sucks. Its a HELL FOR KIDS.. After changing daycare I see he is no more scared.

We started TLE at Montvale in April 2014 with my 4 yo son and 1.5 yo daughter. We loved it! The building is new, well maintained and clean. The staff is nice, friendly and professional. One of my favorites is the healthiest daycare menu weve seen around. My son loves LEAP program wich includes books, interactive videos, etc. I feel that my kids get proper care and attention at TLE. I would definetly recommend it to my friends and family!

Our family had a great experience with the learning experience. Our child started there at only 6 months and Ms Margaret was spectacular. She didnt just take care of our baby she took care of us as parents to assure us the baby was in great hands. This day care was terrific on celebrating holidays with the kids and always creating events for the kids. Some teachers were friendlier than others but our child did very well there.

My son started at TLE in September of 2011 and it was the best decision I have ever made. He is in the Preschool class and loves the teachers and curriculum. The atmosphere makes learning fun and they go at the pace of the child. All the staff are fantastic and love the children. It is hard to get my son to leave some nights because he is having so much fun. And the Make Believe Boulevard is terrific!

My kids have been going to this school since the summer and I have to say, this is a really well run school. From the director to the teachers - all seem to be extremely professional, friendly and most importantly, have the childrens best interest at heart. I have sent some of my children to many of the areas preschools and so far - this is the best weve experienced!

My 2 children have been attending The Montvale Learning Experience for almost 3 years now. The teachers have the best interest of the children in mind at all times. There is no question that when I leave my children in the morning, they are in great hands. I fully trust the staff and that is most important to me when it comes to child care.

The school facility is neat and clean. But I would expect to have more caring and good quality teachers. I dont see they are personally taking care towards childs development. Everything is thrown in the air, It is ok for starters but if you are expecting more solid foundation and devlopment in your child you should look for other options.
