I know this review is a little late but i feel like somethings need to be told. I worked there for 2-3 weeks in June of 2015 i believe. Let me tell you in those 2-3 weeks i saw so much and was disgusted by the hygiene of this place and some staff members actions. The classroom I worked in was so unorganized and looked like it wasnt wiped down or anything since September. The bathroom sinks werent "operating" so instead of the children washing their hands with soap and water after using the potty...we had to wipe thier hands down with baby wipes (just let that sink in). One day during lunch time in the cafeteria a toddler who usually sits in a high chair was acting up..next think you know this staff member SLAMS him into the high chair in front of staff members and children and everyone was just acting like it was the norm. One day i was asked to fill in the older preschoolers room. We were walking towards the cafeteria and the staff member said "hold in your bubbles" which is a cute way of saying please be quiet. One little boy must of said one word and this staff member grabbed his face and yelled "I SAID HOLD IN YOUR BUBBLE". I was just as shocked as this poor little boy. I will say i hope not every classroom and staff member were like this and that since it has been two years, maybe they have gotten thier (Sugar. Honey, Iced, Tea) together.

This camp is amazing! My child attends this camp, and it is her 1st year here. She loves it! She comes home every day with a different story about her day, which, as a parent, makes me so happy to hear. They have 7 acres of beautiful land, which borders Cheesquake Park.The activities they have are: swimming, karate in the gazebo, dodgeball/hockey, basketball, arts and crafts, archery, zipline, hike, megamaze, spider mountain, softball, and GaGa Ball. They also have indoor activities like Dance and Drama and Gymnastics. When it rains, they go inside and do things like Dance and gymnastics, or they can just talk and relax. At the beginning and end of the day, they gather on the grassy hill and slime counselors. The Pledge of Allegiance is said every morning, and said backwards in the afternoon. Before they gather in the morning, they sit on picnic tables under the trees. They sit there again at the end of the day and have snack. My child has been to about 3 other camps, and none were as good as summer friends. This camp beyond exceeded my expectations. The swimming program offers an 8 level institutional swim every morning, teaching different swimming. In the afternoon they have free swim. They require a deep end test to enter the deep area, going 4, 6, 8 feet deep for institutional swim. My daughter loves this camp and I wish I could go!!

My 3 year old daughter has been in First Friends for about 10 months now. I love the various activities,themes and projects they have for the children and how loving and caring the staff is towards the children. They always have a trip, event or birthday party going on so its very much like a min public school. My daughter is very well taken care and the teacher will call without hesitation if there are any problems even problems about her not eating her lunch and offering alternatives the school may have. The price is very reasonable especially in the area. The grounds are very large with lots of activities for the kids outside. It is true they have an open door policy at the school as far as you can just walk right in, but I have become comfortable with it because the staff is friendly with all of the parents and family members who pick the children up and also the office is directly across from the entrance and they always look to see who is coming in the door.

I visited First Friends this month. The front door is locked, and you can only access the building if you either have the code for the keypad, or are buzzed in by the front desk. All of the other information given with the last review is accurate. Great facility! Great staff!
