I am one of the two directors of this daycare. I would like to kindly respond to Jessica Dudek, who is a former teacher at our school, and who has voluntarily resigned, by email mid semester, citing commuting issues after less than 3 months of employment. Review states: -The school is “Russian”. This is not true, there are only 2 Russian teachers, out of 10. It is true, my co director and I are of Russian decent. We both grew up in the US and hold advance degrees. I am an attorney by training, and my co-director has a degree in Education. - The menu is indeed based on a healthy kitchen, with soup as the first course, and a healthy second course. It is true, we do not consider pizza, or hot dogs as a balanced meal. It is prepared fresh by a licensed caterer, and is approved by NJ states. We also hold a food license. - “Since the opening, about 1 1/2 years ago, there have been about 20 different teachers.” This is also not true. We did not have 20 teachers. In fact, in the business of great turnover, Ms. Dudek is the 2nd teacher to leave or be let go. - “Teacher to student ratio does not exist.” – NJ State ratio is followed, as stated it is captured on the camera system, which streams live to our parents. - “Most of the staff does not have a degree in education or a field which is similar” – Every single teacher has a degree in Education, or equivalent experience. Specifically, with Ms. Dudek, I personally called to confirm her Degree from Kean University. This is a requirement of the State of New Jersey. - We do have cameras in every room, cameras that stream live to our parents. This feature allows us to be sure that our children are safe. As such, we have never had any issues with child safety. - The use of ‘worksheets’ is part of ours, and every other approved curriculum. Worksheets are also used in public schools. On a personal note, this is a wonderful business, our kids are happy, and safe. Our own kids are with us at the daycare. Surely as in any business there are issues and improvements that can be made, and we work hard every day to ensure that we get as close to perfect as possible. We take every comment, suggestion, and feedback very seriously, including feedback from our teachers. This feedback of our school is not accurate, and it is sad that someone who is a professional in pursuit of a Masters in Education would engage in this type of behavior. Ms. Jessica was replaced by a former elementary school teacher who spend 13 years teaching Kindergarten.

I was asked to remove this review. "Your comments are completely baseless, false, and derogatory. I ask you to remove your review immediately. Unless this is done, I will seek any and all legal remedies available to under the law, including but not limited to reporting your conduct to the State of New Jersey, and initiating an action for libel/slander" (Mariya Pinskaya). So I will edit it and explain more in detail. This is mainly a Russian school, which I am not stating racial remarks; however, it is not listed as featuring this ethnic background. The lunches consist of Russian foods and there are, (to the best of my knowledge) 4 Russian teachers and both directors are Russian as well. The turn over rate with teachers is fast. I am not the second teacher to leave, as I believe I was told I was the 3rd teacher to teach in my classroom, and three have left after me. There is no organization in a manner which a daycare should be running. For example, I never received files about students in order to know their background, medical history, etc. I personally feel, that they did not care about the safety of the children or have proper child age appropriate activities and curriculum. It was the constant worry of having a child leave and loosing that income. As with staff having degrees, I myself never had to show proof (although I obtained my BA) nor received fingerprinting or a background check. To which is a state requirement. The children, are at times, left without supervision, when a teacher leaves to use bathroom, get supplies, etc. It is my personal opinion that worksheets should not be solely based on a learning experience especially with children at this age and there has been plenty of research done on this. I resigned due to the safety of the children and the conduct in which the center was ran.

There are a lot of things we love about Kids Unlimited especially after having a less than ideal experience with a previous daycare. Our daughter has been going there for almost 2 years and our son just started this week. -Great facility, everything is brand new, everything is very clean. -A large gym for the kids to play in on a daily basis. -Huge brand new playground outside - best playground I have seen in a daycare. -Live cameras in every room to watch your kids - big selling point for us. -Extended hours 7 am to 7 pm. -Great staff, very friendly and professional. We are happy we found this place so close to home.

The worst Day Care facility around! They should not be able to use the title of Day Care, its a bunch of inexperienced people who can barely speak proper English babysitting. They do not teach the children anything just sit around and let them do what they want. They let children sleep on other childrens sheets even when clean sheets are provided by the parent. By the end my child was so terrified of one teacher (whom they call a manager) he would not even go inside the place. When I called about this situation all I was told was "I dont know what to tell you." DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!

I have had nothing but a positive experience with Kids Unlimited daycare. My daughter went to this school for 1 year; we loved the school so much the teachers and the director are very caring,responsive and helpful. They make you feel like you are part of their family. This school is really the best in the area.

My son goes to this school. This place is what a real day care should be like. Clean, secure, professional, educational. Small classes, video cameras, a lot of enrichment programs, personal attention. Staff is very professional and courteous. Strongly recommend for anyone in the area.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!!!!! I know that my baby girl is in good hands. Awesome caring professional staff. State of the art facility. So many activities like dancing, gymnastics, art, etc. You got to check them out you owe it to your kids.

The teachers are very nice. Clean environment. The teacher to kid ration is very small, and they know your kid very well. Im at peace at work!
