Very unprofessional. Ida was rude, and impatient. I realize that firing a federal employee takes an act of God, and I dont wish this on her. However, her supervisors need to give her a wake up call or take her out of her current position and put her in to something that she does not interact with customers. Everyone has bad days but based on the other reviews this does not seem like an isolated event. I asked her a couple questions and she seemed put out. I asked for a paper clip and by her body language you would have thought I asked her for her first born child. I attempted to take a picture with my phone of my envelope I was sending out, and she nearly ripped my head off (for lack of better terms). "YOU CANT TAKE PICTURES IN HERE!!!" If she didnt want me to take a picture she could have handled it in a more professional manner. Whether or not I was in violation is not the matter here, its how she handled it. Again, this photo that I attempted to take was of my envelope. The direction in which I was pointing my phone clearly would NOT have included any employees. Nor snapping a single photo would have held up the line, which was one or two people at the time. I have copied and pasted some information regarding this topic from the USPS web site below. *Photography and Filming for Personal Use Informal snapshots from handheld cameras for personal use may be allowed at the postmaster’s discretion provided that there is no disruption to Postal Service operations and that the pictures are taken from areas accessible to the public. In these cases, no prior permission is required from the Office of Rights and Permissions; however, no lighting or scaffolding may be set up, and no picture can depict any Postal Service employee, customer, security camera, or cover of mail (i.e., the exterior of a mailpiece, which would show customer name and address among other things). Postmasters may restrict any and all photography if they determine that it is disruptive or there are potential security concerns.

I was literally waiting outside for my package containing live plants to arrive. The tracking said out for delivery, but that at around 4pm it updated to say "No secure location, notification left". I called help line and told them that it was impossible that they couldnt deliver the package because I WAS WAITING OUTSIDE FOR IT. We did get our regular junk mail earlier in the day but I thought that it might be a different truck that brings to the packages. I think that the carrier forgot the box in his truck and then didnt want to come back to deliver it so said it was undeliverable. The help desk was obviously no help since it was after the lobby had closed but I raced to the post office because he said someone might still be there. Of course there wasnt anyone there, why would they be? So now I get to worry all weekend that my plants are sitting in a building for two days without light or water. Thanks USPS. Youve just compromised my business which is in the shaky beginning stage. If those plants are dead then Im screwed.

Today March 21st I went to this location to send my nephew a easter basket and to buy 3 other boxes and 15 puffy envelopes. I get to the counter and the lady says we dont have tape that you can use you have to buy a whole roll. All i needed was to take the box closed. Probably 7 inches of tape. The lady was rude and wouldnt give me a piece of take. I was going to spend at least 20 dollars on shipping and another 30 dollars on boxes and envelopes. I left and went to the Staples on Nixon drive and was helped by great employee. The gentlemen even taped up my box with pleasure. Im never going to this location ever again . This lady should be fired for lack of people skills. She is losing the place money!!

Horrible employees. Mainly Eida (if thats how its spelt) very rude. Told me im not allowed to ship plants even if its bare root. I purchase live plants all the time and get them through usps. Most are vendors but the majoroty are just regular people. No lincence required. But she gave me guff and said they dont ship plants and how i need to have my business card and licences. Even stated that i should go to Fedex. We didnt know you had to pay for the tape since it was sitting by the envelopes, she had us pay for it because we used it thinking it was free tape to use. She never once apologised. I get so incomfortable going there. I always pray she isnt there....Which is truly sad.

Im embarrassed to say that as a Moorestown resident, this US Post Office is utter crap. I have waited multiple times for someone to come and help me when its their JOB to service customers. I have called several times because the USPS in Moorestown tends to deliver mail to the wrong address. I have been disconnected from calling, because I waited for over 1 minute listening to the ringing on my phone with no response, and when someone does respond, they talk to you with disrespect and hang up. As a Moorestown resident, Im and embarrassed and disgusted with the customer service, work ethic, and responsibility delivered by these time-wasting, disrespectful, "workers."

Ive never had an extraordinarily long wait here. I find the employees friendly enough; they remember me and we always have a bit of a chat while Im sorting out my packages. The parking is a bit of a drag but that may be because I always have boxes and things to carry in, so parking around behind the building isnt very convenient. Still, its not bad enough to make me drive all the way to Cinnaminson or anywhere else if Im not going in that direction.

Very Unprofessional service. Ida is rude, inconsiderate, and quite frankly makes it uncomfortable to even walk in to the door of the post office. Ida is a BULLY, and holds personal vendettas, and there is no place for this in business. Something needs to be done. Her behavior to the public is atrocious. Thank you to Sam who knows how to speak to you like you are a human being.

The Chester Avenue post office is a dinosaur. The management simply doesnt care, and the employees are even worse. Longest lines of any P.O. in the region, terrible service, no ethic of customer service. Use Cinnaminson (on 130 North) or Mt. Laurel (on Walt Whitman Avenue) and even with the driving time you will invariably come out ahead.

Always busy and never has enough clerks working. Always a line out the door and parking is a joke, however after spending at least 30min in line my clerk was pleasant and nice. Id rather take the trip to the next town over in Maple Shade then wait in line at this Moorestown office.
