This has been my Retro of choice for some time now. It does seem to get very busy during peak hours, but it also has more space available than some of the other Retro Fitness locations. Sometimes the free weight area can get so crowded that you need to wait for equipment, but its usually never more than a few minutes. Management at this location is great and the members tend to be very friendly and helpful. Its getting to the point where some equipment could use an update, but there is a robust selection of equipment here. If cardio is your thing, there are TONS of treadmills as well as a number of elliptical machines and stationary bikes. I have never had to wait for cardio equipment. They also seem to be offering a very good class schedule, although I have yet to try it out.

Staff deserves a 10/10. Management deserves a boot out the door specially the old woman with the glassess. Do yourself a favor and go to NYSC right on 9 south. More room, more equipment, and they offer a pool and basketball court. More expensive? A little. Worth it? Absolutely. Dont waste your time at this Retro, unless of course you dont care about gains.

Was better before the renovations. Bathrooms not clean. When I originally signed as a member, it was well kept. Movie room. Smaller. Less services and they nickle and dime you. 60 day cancellation process. Has to be mailed in. Crappy way to treat a long time customer. Ill use my time up, and sign up with one of the cleaner places around Marlboro.

Well this used to be a great gym now its just stupid. Someone had the bright idea to take all the equipment and move it over to 1 of the 2 sides so that they could have more "crossfit" space. Idiots. Adding 2 more squat racks would have sufficed instead of putting everything/everyone on top of each other.

Awesome gym, very clean, great Leg Press machine, a great gym to go to workout legs, but also has all the great equipment at most of the Retro Gyms. Very clean and spacious, and overall its a gym I look forward to going to, rather than dread working out at.

EFT now runs the training and have completely made it so disorganized when setting up a session. Water fountains are either broken or very dirty. Machines break often and are not fixed quickly. Cheap - guess you get what you pay for.

Horrible experience lately. Good when first opened and could use both sides now you have to pay extra because they crammed everything on one side and put crossfit equipment on the other. Manager is rude but staff employees are always nice

Love this gym Ive been a member since it opened in early 2007 and the gym is kept pretty clean and they even added an addition to the gym about 2 years ago so its a pretty decent size now wit plenty of good equipment

Great gym , I want to learn how to do the "other" equipment need upper body n core worked want to use them correct. Im not getting the full benefit. Want personnel to show me the correct way to do it safe.

Decent gym, well maintained. They randomly shut down the theater and blocked access to half the gym, and now require an additional subscription to access it. Kind of shady business dealing...

Staff is friendly, thats where it ends. Poor management, manager is not friendly at all. You pay $10 a month, and she lets you know, youll be getting $10/month type of service in return

Great staff, lots of room, friendly environment, and the dumbells go up to 120lbs. What more can you ask for?

They moved all of the equipment around to make room for CrossFit. So yeah its all crowded now.
