Wow I guess I am not the only one that has the same thoughts about this Postal Service experience in Morris Plains. Like someone said I wish I could give them 0 stars as well. I have lived in Morristown for 17 years before and never had issues with the postal service. They were fantastic! Now I live in Morris Plains and I had nothing but headache beginning from Postal Service to Mail Woman delivering mail. Yes they are rude, VERY slow and pretty much useless. The same people work there for ages and perhaps ether they need costumer service retraining or perhaps its time to retire or be let go. I dont blame Postal Service going under because people dont want to deal with problems that are common sense. Oh shut out to Mrs Sanders working at the Postal Service in Morris Plains I do hope you will work on your dismissive attitude and if a costumers voices out his or hers opinion you dont just shut them down but want to hear them out regardless of the problem. Costumer is always right and perhaps being more understanding would go a long way even though the other person seems upset? Perhaps they are upset because they are tired of how things are being run by a certain Delivery Mail Person??? I do hope corporate will take a look into this and sees how bad Morris Plains Post Office is viewed and will try to fix issues there ASAP!

If you need to actually conduct business at a post office I would recommend staying out of this place. The women behind the desk are so lazy and nasty. I pay 20k in taxes, and this lazy worker couldnt give me two small pieces of tape so I can put my label on my envelope. SOO RIDICOULOUS!!!!!! Now I have to drive all the way home and get two little pieces of tape so I can mail by envelope. People need to sometimes have a heart and some decency and help out another citizen instead of making them struggle to mail a small letter. I will never go back to this post office . I rather drive 2000 miles and deliver a envelope myself then have this place handle my business. Go to Parsippany post office, Morristown post office or Randolph post office. Honestly the workers should be happy they have a job to come to everyday. Some people have to flip burgers for 12 hours a day just to make ends meet. You guys sit behind a desk, and help customers that are pretty easy to deal with. If you hate your job, then work somewhere else.

Inquired about the process to have my mothers mail redirected , explain she have very recently passed. Was living elsewhere but still had some mail addressed to Morris Plains address. Judging by the replies received the clerk seemed to not listen to most of what I said was the purpose for my call. Then after politely repeating the same questions and reasons for contacting again. I became acutely aware of an almost demeaning to "cue card" rhetoric reply and tone in the clerks voice. With that said Id say their customer services needs tremendous work. Especially given the circumstances surrounding the contact in the first place. Which btw the way when I called the Randolph PO , where my mother for some reason had mailed delivered. there. The clerks first statement was "so sorry to hear for your loss. how can we help". Enough said. I lived in MP since I was 13, Im now 52. My personal and family experience with the post office has not changed one bit. The one star is well deserved.

Last Monday (2/2/09) I received mail for 4 of my neighbors some several miles away. I received most of my mail and found out later that one of my neighbors received the rest of my mail. The mail has been screwed up here like this for a long time but now it is getting rediculous. Monday night seems to be the worst day with the most incompetent deliveries and Saturday seems to be the best. I think I am at the end of the line on Littleton Rd. and I get whatever mail they neglected to deliver properly. I guess then it gets reprocessed the next day. Even you federal employees must do your job well. The incompetent Bush admisitration is gone.

Ordered package from Amazon Prime. Second day delivery - live plant. Was supposed to be delivered February 14th. My address is residential. I was home all day - not delivered. Received email from Amazon that "business was closed". Seriously?! Just because mail delivery person is too lazy to work Sunday Valentines day?! Monday is Presidents Day do I MIGHT receive dead plant I Tuesday. They all need to go.

terrible. we always receive mail for other neighbors. get delivery confirmations for things that have NOT been delivered, and when you call.. no one knows the packages is still on the truck. Right at this moment, I am trying to track down a Christmas gift that was "delivered" and guess what, no one on my street has it... amazing ! Because I just have so much money and time to throw away......

The team and management is a joke here. I am trying to track a package where ups confirmed they dropped it off at this location yesterday, but usps never updated anything in the tracking for me to know where my package is. I called and they interrupted me and management hung up on me. Appalled. I really hope things change and new management comes in. This is ridiculous

This place is in serious need of an attitude adjustment. For a dying industry, Id go the extra miles to ensure my customers come back so I still have a job. Next time Ill use FedEx.
