After coasting through my adolescent years into adulthood I came across gyms I joined yet lost interest for they just didnt interest me, they were what they were...gyms. Rooms furnished with weights and cardio equipment however no signs of care. If you can see by my before pictures I was in need of much care. Like most going around deeply depressed not knowing it. We play it off as if we just are like this and that as if its our personalities. Not at all. Through lack of care I was overlooking my personalities from within me. Why I sought out past gyms. Though there was no one to advise you, no one to offer you measurements, test your strength, give you something to track down, set goals for...until I signed up with your gym, MY GYM... I been here since 2004-2005...its been so long I lost track of time. You have become my second home, the place who showed me care and I put it in myself...then I found guidance, inspiration and motivation to those who occupied in this home your amazing good vibe pumping instructors, trainers, assessment nurses and staff...if I am away too long I feel home sick and I truly wish for everyone to find a home here...without it your inner will most likely is homeless. My dream is to be an instructor one day. Im a single mom so I dont have the money for schooling or certifications. Maybe one day I will find a sponsor. I was hoping my videos would link me to some contacts. For I wish I could be a spokesperson for this gym. I cant stop raving about it and so many out there hopeless, depressed people are skipping the care that they No not want ...It is a NEED a necessity of life in order to have one. I have unlocked my personalities... I went from shy girl to being more bubbly than Susan Powers and Richard Simmons combined. Id love for this to get out there. Hello GOOD MORNING AMERICA...blast that fat, laugh get up and shake it off and make sure you have a weight in your hand, got your heart pulse to an adventurous level that is sure going to make you burn off some fat and calories...Thanks Future Fitness....(these pictures, images, and produce videos are personal property and any misuse or unwritten consent to their use is unjustifiable according to written copy right laws) Image copyrght.jpg

I went to this gym because of the $10 per month ad. It is misleading. They have pushy sales tactics, but despite that I agreed to a $40.00 a month membership. At the time $40.00 for full use of gym equipment, locker room, classes and a pool thats not too bad. However, I didnt expect some tough times ahead. I took a job that required much time and energy from me. I was told to be put on "Hold or freeze" you have to go in and sign paperwork. Then I was told even though I wont be there I still have to pay $5.00 a month to keep my membership. On Nov. 1st the day that period ended I planned on calling about canceling the membership. They very quickly took $40.00 early in the am out of my account before I had a chance to call. They only accept payment via debit/credit cards which I dont like. ( I actually lost the job I had and couldnt afford any gym at the time. ) I went in and was told I had to give 90 days notice to cancel. The manager told me he could work out giving me another 90 day "freeze" period at $5.00 a month and then I had to call accounting to get the $40.00 charge refunded. When I called accounting, the accountant wouldnt refund the money. The woman was rude by cutting me off mid-sentence. She had a "Too bad for you- tough" attitude when I told her that I absolutely couldnt pay the money right now. She told me I would have to get a lawer because Im under contract. Of course I cant pay a lawyer about a $40.00 charge. Quite frankly I dont care about some contract that their rich lawyer came up with. I hadnt been in that gym for more than 6 months and they continue to take my money. If this gym wants customers who need to temporarily quit they should show some empathy to anyone having troubles. That will make someone willing to return once the problems are solved. However, they have turned me off and I will find a new gym when things get better. I went on hold for a month due at my old gym due to illness and it was simply done over the phone with no charge. I had cancelled gym memberships before because I moved and it was easily done over the phone. Thats how it should always be done.

This place is an absolute disgrace. This is what will happen when you walk in.....They will greet you acting very friendly. You will fill out a form that is very professional and you will have to describe what you want to accomplish in the gym. The good looking females working there will hand you a $300 coupon for "today only" which mean NOTHING. The salesmen are all very pushy and want to see if YOU are good enough for this gym. They will walk you around and show you the "video game bike" the "gravity bench press" and "the ultimate bicept" machine, which is SURE to hit every aspect of you bicep. They will then stand at the top of the steps with you overlooking the gym. Telling you how revolutionary this gym is compared to every other one in the world. Then they will tell you that they "restrict memberships". They will take you to the office and give you the run down of how most people pay thousands for the membership and blah blah blah. Then they will give you a price. Which you have RIGHT NOW to decide. I paid $99 down and $34 a month. That is relatively low for them, but I work somewhere which benefited them in terms of advertising. Be sure to read the fine print, and they will tell you that you are not signing a "contract" but yet you are. You must be there 2 years before you will stop being changed. AND on top of that you must give them 3 MONTH NOTICE before leaving. So if you lose your job you will still be charged for 3 MONTHS NO MATTER WHAT!! This is an average gym with a ton of HYPE. I recommend ANY other gym than this. I have been a member here, LA Fitness, Rowan, Four seasons, and currently Giant Fitness. This gym is by far the worst. They dont care about anything but getting you to sign up and screw you over.

SHOCKING. The gym is a pretty nice facility. The equipment is good and there are enough cardio machines so you dont have the wait times that exist at other gyms. My main problem was the consistency of the rules which are being blurted out as you workout like they are trying to brainwash you. Except the desk people nor the trainers enforce any of them. I previously belonged to a gym where they really enforced towels, cleaning up work stations, drinks, having bags on the workout floor, etc. This place has people walking around with bags and leaving them in the way. Some of the patrons leave empty bottles all over. The kicker is that nobody enforces the putting back of weights. There are plates, dumbbells, bars, and clips lying everywhere and anywhere. Plates left on machines is probably the worst I have ever seen. The price wasnt as bad as I thought it would be for the area, but for the price I expected a little more prestige, cleanliness, and consistency. I could pay less and go to the nearest MUSCLE HEAD GYM and get these same low standards. Other than that the staff is pretty friendly, trainers when available have adequate knowledge. But they better beware because there is another fitness facility being planned for Route 322 near Kings Highway. So there is another option coming.
