My fiancé, friend and myself went to the Ridley Park Planet fitness located on Macdade and was greeted with a lady employee with poor customer relations & very unprofessional attitude. Talking to her was like looking at dry wall w/ no paint. I have a black card (bring a friend membership) and wanted to sign my fiancé up and have my friend from Thailand work out. Lady employee said that I could have only one guest. I explained another way that I had two people that wanted to work out today and she repeated the same thing about having only one guest. She then said sorry, but thats the procedure. So I looked at her, and we all looked at each other until she finally explained how much it would cost to bring a guest. Imagine that awkward scenario of this worker saying the same thing over and over. I was going to walk out but I did not wake up at 5am just to get to the gym and leave without working out. Advice to the manager - If you dont have anything helpful to say, just dont talk to the guests. I would give this gym 5 stars if that lady wasnt there.

I was here for 2 months because of work, Ive been to plenty of gyms, but have the say this is the best. Not because of the equipment, The staff are nice, friendly, and they clean the place often. Bathrooms are always cleaned, and so are the equipment. I normally see the staff cleaning every time Im there, and i go at different times through out the week. If i was still in the area, I would definitely be going there. Keep in mind, this is not a "hardcore or cross fit gym," you are not going to see heavy weights, that was the only negative thing, but honestly you can still do everything you need with what they have.

So the other morning I went to this planet fitness before a photo shoot and I needed to hit the tanning bed before. The one employee said " why the hell are you tanning youre not white" then all the other employees that were standing behind the desk started chuckling at me. Nice to know that the judgement free zone they speak of is only for " white people " I got all the employees names and I will be calling the general manager. If disciplinary action isnt taken again all employees involved I plan to go to the BBB.

Found my vehicle with paint spots from their employees who were using spray paint in their parking lot. I was so dissatisfied with how they handled my complaint, totally denied it even though i had seen people working there when i first got to the gym. I would have appreciated even if someone simply admitted and said sorry.

I love this gym. Staff is super friendly and nice and helpful. They have free training with a cool certified trainer "Josh". They also have free pizza and bagels and coffee first monday and first tuesday of every month. They always have specials. I love their hydro massage and massage chairs and tanning area.

Great place to work out and great staff especially the recently hired new girl Suki. Shes one the reasons I like the gym so much with such a charismatic and genuine personality. If you want a gym tour ask for Suki.
