I called from the parking lot because I had my baby in the car with me, I needed to find out their pricing on dry cleaning per pound because I wanted to bring suits over. My phone call lasted 18seconds!! I asked how much per pound for cleaning and he barked back "what? no per pound!" and hung up. I see a man rushing to his van and back inside meanwhile looking a bit scared and looking over his shoulder, was he scared of me? Im ONLY 5ft tall!!!!! I went inside and said "were you the one I was just on the phone with? I called from the parking lot" "yeah yeah" he says, and right off he starts with "no per pound" while brushing me off with his hands to leave I said "You hung up on me while I was trying to ask how much for suit jackets?" He began to mumble angrily and say no per pound. I told him you arent answering my question Im not asking how much per pound anymore I want to know how much per suit jacket? I was trying to give this guy a chance to have my business. He said nope, no you know, 5.00 per jacket, at that point I knew he was unreasonably priced for the area and said "ok you know what I really dont like your attitude so Im just gonna go youre really rude and nasty." LOL he replied "No youre rude and nasty!" I told him "I simply called and you hung up and then I come in and youre rude youre bad business, you wont even let people ask you questions youre rude, thats why theres no customers here, because youre nasty!" and I left as he began to mumble to himself.

I have been coming to 88 Dry Cleaners for the past five years and the owner of this place has become almost like family to me. He is one of the most hard working people I know and runs his business with integrity and care. I live 30 minutes away and I have the option of going to a dry cleaners closer to my house but I go out of my way to come here. Sometimes people have bad days and I think reviewers need to take into consideration that this is not an easy business and have some sympathy. If this place had bad service how could it still be standing after 25 years? That in itself says a lot about 88 Dry Cleaners.

Ive brought my clothes here many times to great results. Theyre decently priced and humble with customers. It is a bit messy inside which is worrying but Im assuming thats just stuff that people forget to pick up.
