The Newark Y is one of Newarks best kept secrets. I have been a member for 4 years, and love it! Of course there is room for improvements, but where can you go where there isnt. I specifically go for the Aqua Aerobics. Again, the classes as well as the instructor are great! I can go on and on, but I suggest that you come down for the day, and establish your own opinion. Oh, did I mention the fee? Well its also great. They even have a sliding scale for those whose income fits a certain criteria. With all that being said, just come check it out for yourself!

My family visited this location for the first time. The building is need of an upgrade. The greeter was professional and knowledgeable. The check in process was chaotic because we had to fill out forms and there were about ten people standing at the desk and only one person behind it doing her best to handle everyone. She did a good job with it. The pool was smaller than I thought and one of the life guards were terrible and rude. I will not be returning.

Freaking awesome I stopped by while waiting to drive back to California. The steam room was sooo warm. I had a good sweat. Im really hoping people were just nice and not gay. Im just a guy getting centered with Gods help at the Y. Ubered it in and out. They sell Chinese food right in the building. Great place. POOL CLOSED THO??

Bad every time i call no one know anything i keep leaving messages for the swimmig director to call me back and he never does. They cancel swimming classes and dont let any of the parents know no professional at all

Id been a member on/off for a number of years. When I finally rejoined, it was like coming home. I had a good workout at the gym and I felt at peace afterwards. I plan on making this a regular thing from now on!
