Run by incompetent, inept, complete morons on the government dole. Critical package was supposed to arrive. I went to see if the mail had been delivered. Mail was in the mailbox, no package, NO delivery attempt notice. I track the package. It shows that it made it to Old Bridge Post Office, but there is NO indication that it ever got scanned onto the truck. NO - Out for delivery status. I drive to the post office to pick it up, and Im met with Bill, the idiot supervisor. Dumbshit tells me that the package isnt there so it must be on the truck. I tell the tool that Ive already picked up the mail that was delivered and that the package wasnt there ans there was no delivery notice attempt left. Neander-boy tells me that the carrier probably forgot and might come back. I dont need a might come back a need a definite. So 70 so an I.Q. suggests that I try to find the truck in the neighborhood and get the package from the carrier. Like a fool, I go driving around the neighborhood for 40 minute, trying to find the mail truck. Finally I go back home and ask my mother and nephew - who have been home the entire time - if anything had been delivered since I left. NO I go back outside and notice that the mailbox is open. I look inside and look at that, a Delivery Attempt Notice. It wasnt there earlier, and its crumpled up like its been in someones pocket for a week. I get back in the car and start to drive back to the post office. I see a mail truck pulled over on the side of the road, so I honk and pull up behind the carrier. I ask her if she dropped of the notice. She says it isnt her. So I tell her what Larry the lunkhead told me. Shes incredulous, and shes right. Why the hell would you suggest that someone try to find a mail truck. I get back the the post office and ask to speak to the post master and tell the woman behind that counter what I was told earlier. "I never told you that." was the insipid response. This uber idiot was standing right there when I initially spoke with Bill the dumbshit. So she goes to get the supervisor Im standing there nearly 10 minutes before asswipe comes out to talk to me. "Its not here." This assclown put on this blank look and starts talking down to me. "Is it possible that they didnt hear the carrier knock?" "You had me try to track down one of your mail truck..." "I never said to do that. I said if you wanted to." Seriously dickwad? Look up another package of mine that you LOST a year and a half ago AND IM STILL WAITING FOR IT TO GET DELIVERED. I get loud and asshat come back with, "Are you threatening me?" Get me my package to piece of worthless assmunch! There are morons!!!

RT 516 IN OLD BRIDGE, N.J., IS THE BEST POST OFFICE EVER!! HATS OFF TO THE LETTER CARRIERS, THE FOLKS THAT SERVICE THE FRONT COUNTER, & THOSE THAT SORT OUR MAIL. I AM A WOMAN WHO HAS BEEN IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE INDUSTRY FOR OVER 35 YEARS, I BELIEVE IT REQUIRES "PEOPLE PERSON", SKILLS, TO ACHIEVE AN EFFECTIVE OUTCOME. AS FAR AS THE CUSTOMER IS CONCERNED, WE DEMAND GRADE A SERVICE. WHILE MOST OF US ARE INDEED PLEASANT, THERE ARE OTHERS THAT CAN BE DOWN RIGHT RUDE. SOME COME TO THE COUNTER & STAY ON THE PHONE THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE TRANSACTION. WE WOULD BE OUTRAGED IF IT WERE REVERSED. ALSO, SOME CUSTOMERS EXPECT THE REP TO IMMEDIATELY HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS, TO ALL THEIR QUESTIONS. FINALLY, LETS NOT FORGET THE CUSTOMERS WHO SHOW UP AT 4:55 PM, REQUIRING 30 MINUTES OF FACE TO FACE SERVICE, (ME INCLUDED

I had went to our OB Post Office many many times through out the years also growing up. And never once have I ever encountered any trouble or waiting in long lines, reps being rude.. That is very strange, but I guess it can happen. Anyway I just called the OB Post Office and the man answered the phone and told me great knowledge and had answered my questions at hand. Very nice work Old Bridge Postal very nice work indeed!!!

Why, in todays day in age, wouldnt the 24/7 kiosk "update itself" during business hours to give the customer an option of now going to the teller to deliver packages. I cant afford to go there at night at not knowing if this automated kiosk will be "updating" itself for hours.This is my 3rd experience in 1 month and its un-excusable. At least setup a schedule to inform the town!!!!!!! Cmon now - its 2012 for pete sake!!!!!

I filled out a hold mail order. they did not follow there on hold mail order and lost my very valuable package do to the fact they dont care or 1 hand does not no what the other hand is doing. that is incompetence period then they would not supply with a copy of the hold mail order for me to sue them for not delivering the package another incompetent government service

They Dont even answer their phone. Terrible Service. They lose your mail and it comes to your house months later. They blame other post offices. I have been calling for an hour and they are closing soon, and not one person is answering the phone. The Government has the worst offices that are supposed to serve the people

Always get fast, courteous service. Even when there is a line it usually moves fairly quickly. Ive been in more than a few post offices where theyre like surly zombies. As opposed to good natured zombies. The self-serve kiosk is very handy too.

awful. always super busy and slow. mail comes super late every day. a new post man every week. had my mail on hold and was delivered. released the hold and never got delivered. tried calling post office. no one ever answers the phone! terrible.

I agreed with another reviewer here. It was great a long time ago. In the past 15, 20 years, it was run by incompetent, micro-managing, disgruntled man. Services has been inconsistent since the fat guy.
