Worst customer service at a Post Office EVER! And I was just trying to track down a package; it wasnt even confirmed lost yet. Ive had Post Office employees better interact with me when I was mad over a package being lost. My interactions with Ms. B started well but did not end well. I was on hold waiting for her to look for a package and I had her holding so that I could check somewhere but I guess that wasnt okay. And though she had plenty of time to ask me how far away I was due to tasks she needed to take care of in the AM. Instead, she abruptly is like are you there yet because I cant be on the phone this long in the morning. Frankly it shocked me and so I did probably shortly reply back yes you can because Im trying to find a package that is last listed at your post office. She insisted that she places me on hold for 5 minutes and when I get where I need to go she will be back on. By that point I was where I needed to be and the package was not there. She ended by saying well its not here; it got scanned wrong. At this point, I knew the conversation was going no where but I still need to find my package and well I pray I never have to interact with this post office again. Go to the Post Office on Kilmer road or the one in Highland Park. Even the Post Office on George Street in New Brunswick has much much better service. Finally, this interaction was so bad I took time away from my dissertation to write this!

this post office is a lame excuse for a government establishment. the staff here hide nothing when it comes to showing their hatred for their jobs. my tracking info for my package says delivered at 9:45 am yet theres no package at my door. i called and BALBENDER asked me for my tracking info. 10 seconds into my search for my tracking number BALBENDER tells me to call back when i have it. i told him no because i have it right here it was only a few seconds. he then tells me hell call me back which he did not, so i called back and he explains that theres no answer from the carrier and that maybe someone stole my package from my house. his tone was unhelpful and unwilling to do his job and made it very clear he could not wait to get off the phone. prior to our last convo all calls i made , noone picked up the phone and when they did after 3 rings they just hung up. from what im told BALBENDER is a supervisor. how he was appointed this position baffles me, must be a shortage of employees. i guess trusting your local post office with a few hundred dollar valued package is not part of our city anymore. cant wait to move

Carrier didnt deliver package, said there was notice left and no secure location to leave parcel. Another carrier delivered a box the day before and left it with no issues. No notice was left, I have now scheduled two re-deliveries and still nothing. I called the post office and a man with a heavy accent did not ask for any information but instead told me he could not help me and to call the post office in the morning, No one at the 800 number can believe that this is happening and sees no reason as to why one package was delivered and not the other, they even said it sounds like different carriers and one was lazy. The only difference in the packages is the weight. They are from the same sender and the same size. Hopefully the multiple emails put in will get some results. I will not use this facility and possibly never use USPS to send or receive packages again. Poor customer service is resulting in their bankruptcy

I have lived here for 1 year and they have lost three of my packages including 1 very important certified letter. Whenever I go into the office with a tracking number stating that my package should be with them, they can never locate it. They also deliver me other peoples mail no matter how many signs I put up on my mail box with my name and address. I have confronted the mail carrier and the postal workers at this office and nothing changes. They are the most incompetent, inept, and just all around stupid people I have ever encountered. Its sad that tax payer dollars go to employing such lazy idiots who lose peoples mail. If you live in Piscatway do yourself a favor and just pay a little extra to use UPS or Fedex.

While I will say some people in this post office are disrespectful, I wouldnt put it as a whole. I recently got into the Ebay Business and my mailman is the friendliest guy ever. Even if I dont schedule a pickup, he still takes my package and scans it for me. I have never had a bad experience except for the one time the indian guy was there. I was there at the office at 4:55 and he closed the door on me saying it was closed. Eventually he took my package but starting yelling at the attendant at the desk to get the last person out and hurry up. I feel if he gets fired then the post office will be better as a whole. Dont have any other problems and respect all the other people that work there. Very helpful.

I am giving one star because there is no provision for a zero star. Worst Post Office, ever! I will never visit it again. The South Asian guy was so rude and offensive. He would not answer a straight question. I wanted to know what was the cheapest option for sending my package and instead of answering me started getting personal with all sorts of insinuations. First of all, he had this smirk and condescending attitude. I just grabbed my package and ran for the door. I am never going to this place again. This guy is so rude! Worst Post Office, ever!

Post offices have never been known for their efficiency, but this facility seems to be in worse shape than most. I stopped by around 9:30am on a Saturday to pick up a package that I was unavailable to sign for during the previous delivery attempt and ended up spending 15 minutes on line. There was only one clerk available with 10+ people waiting to be serviced. However, by the time I did reach the front, I was treated pretty courteously. Overall, Ive been to smaller and larger post offices that were able to get things done better.

rude staff, went there to buy stamps, asked for "2 dozens" and the staff thought it was 2 thousand, every customer in line behind me understood and start to tell her that 2 dozens means 24, but the staff replied "sir you have to say it in English", it is hard to believe that they use illiterate employee but it is harder to believe that illiterate employee actually thinks that she speaks English better

Horrible customer service. The employees there are incredibly rude on the phone, they briefly respond to your question on the phone and then immediately hang up so you cant further inquire on your issue. Their tone is awful and clearly they do not care about any of their customers. They should fire everyone there and rehire people who actually care about serving their customers.
