So... a two-day shipment needed to be picked up several days after it was scheduled to be delivered. They tried to deliver to the business next door to my house. Not sure why they had trouble differentiating the address numbers - I attribute this to their general incompetence. I scheduled a re-delivery online and the following day they marked my package as delivered - and yet - no package ever arrived. I called them the following day and was placed on hold for nearly 10 minutes. Guess they were very preoccupied chatting up a storm. They told me the package wasnt delivered, but that it would be going out that day. I explained to the woman on the phone exactly where to deliver it and told her not to confuse addresses again because my neighbors wont accept the package, and if they do itll be difficult getting it from them. She says "yeah, yeah, okay, bye." Clearly she didnt want to deal with me. I expected my package to be at my house when I got home that night. Surprise, surprise. No package. I called again the following morning, and was then placed on hold for fifteen minutes. In the end, I hung up, because I figured whoever was on the line had forgotten about me. I called back several times to no answer. When someone finally answered they said no one was in the office to help me and that I should call back later. So, I called back and was told that my package never left the post office. It was still sitting there. He offered to have it sent out the next day, but I didnt trust them to actually do their job. I had someone pick up my package from their post office because with my luck it would never have made it to me. By the time it did, I wouldnt have even needed the item anymore. I paid for two-day shipping for a reason. If they cant handle the main job function/purpose, which is to DELIVER THE MAIL, then I dont know what theyre doing in there. * The bonus - the person who picked up my package while I was at work had a pleasant experience, so theres that. They didnt give him a hard time either, which was nice, considering what a hard time I was given.

Absolute garbage. This is the third time my mail got lost at this location. Whenever I order something from Amazon and I see the carrier as USPS, I dread it. This post office WILL either lose or deliver the package somewhere else. Three times. And youre probably thinking how this could get worse? I made the unholy mistake of actually showing up to the post office to see why they keep delivering my packages somewhere else. I first called to confirm my address and information, and a lady put me on hold for 1 hour! I called again and she picked up immediately. I guess she thought I would just hang up after a while. She asked me to show up in person with all the package details in person to see whats going on. I made the mistake of actually doing this, and was just given the tracking # and told to wait for updates, *after it has been delivered.* Why would I be asked to show up just so I can get a tracking #, and how the hell would I get updates on a delivered package? This was the third time it got "delivered," so I came to realize that they are just too lazy too deliver some packages, so they put it as delivered in order to get away with it. The man at the front desk came straight out of the seventh plane of torment. After rudely telling me to check my porch carefully, he literally gave me a post it note with the places number on it and told me to call tomorrow. After that, he said were done here. What would I even call about? Its obvious that none of the people that work here care about their job, and it shows. I recommend to pay more just to get Fedex or UPS if you live around here, because this is the worst USPS location I ever seen. Worse than the DMV.

Horrible. First off, I urge you to have cash and/or a check book before going to this post office because they have a bad habit of their computers going down AFTER you swipe your debit card. I went there on Friday and and made a purchase for my passport which was $136. AFTER I swiped my card, the sales associate says "I hope it goes through" and of course it didnt..their computers went down and they had to send remaining customers to a bank to get cash. Which by the way was very far. So before doing so..I reviewed my bank account and I saw I was charged for the purchase...I was told she voided it and my money will come back on Monday since it was the weekend...so I paid an extra $136 for nothing. Granted my money will come in, it was just a horrible unprofessional experience. She didnt even say "sorry for the inconvenience." Horrible. Everything couldve been prevented if handled appropriately. P.S my money did not come in yet, I may have to file a claim if it doesnt come by Wednesday. Just terrible!

The lady that picked up the phone was extremely condescending. I called because there was a package that was "delivered" but I never received and from the minute she picked up she rushed me to tell her "what the problem was." As I was speaking she would interrupt and before I even gave her a tracking # she says if the package is delevired theres nothing I can do about it. How do you know? Look first listen to what to have to say. She goes on to say call a supervisor before 8:30am or a carrier themself. As if I shouldve known to call that early duh?! Lol when I finally say mam youre barely letting me talk. She say "Im not letting you talk? Wow!!" I couldnt believe a person is allowed to talk that way to a customer who is not yelling, cursing, calling you names just trying to get answers. Im an adult dont need to be babied but I do demand respect and the service you are paid to give me.

So disappointed on this post office, especially the front guy who told me that my international package sent back to the sender already. He did not help me to track my package by using the track number. Then I asked to talk to supervisor, he said no one work inside.Thats super ridiculous. He just gave me a phone number and told me to call that number tomorrow morning. I didnt give up and just call that number immediately. One man answered my call and told me that my package was still there!!! I feel so shameful on that guy. Moreover, my international package was scanned as undeliverable as addressed. OMG, I received soooooo many packages by using the same address. I did not receive any notice or phone call of this package. Please be responsible and respect for your customers who paid the expensive fare for priority express international service!!!

Horrible..Wish there was a 0 star rating. One of the most incompetent office Ive ever seen. They should fire the manager. So I lived in many areas of NJ and NY and the office at 08817 is the worst ever. If there is a little morning rain shower, forget that your package will be delivered that day even if its priority or express. They wont bother to deliver at all. If the package is big which cannot fit in your post box, postman will not bother to leave the truck and place it near your door. Hell leave a "we missed you" slip. Sometimes he may even sign it for you. Such lazy postmans. I believe their manager is worst ,lame, with no skills and doesnt know what hes doing, as he promotes these kind of service. Rest of the places have great service and motivated postmans. They really need a different competent leadership in this office.
