This location has been consistently rude every time I go in but my experience today was the worst. I called two weeks ago to schedule a passport appointment and confirmed the location and the time. I went in for my appointment today and the employee who helped me insisted that I had no appointment. She told me that they never schedule appointments for that time of day (11:45am) and showed me their empty appointment book. Another employee working next to her chimed in and told me that I was wrong about my appointment and told me to go to the administrative office at city hall. They were very unhelpful, extremely rude, and shouted at me. What bothered me the most is not that they didnt write down my appointment, but their appalling customer service. Even if I was wrong about my appointment, that is NEVER an acceptable way to speak to a customer. I called the Kilmer Road location and they were very polite and helpful. The Highland Park location has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

The worst post office in the world!!!!! The employees are rude slow n horrible at there job. A clerk named Terry has to be the slowest person on earth and does not care about the company she works for because shes not helpful at all to her customers. I moved to Highland Park nj in may it is now September and they keep sending my mail back saying there is no record of me living here. I had missed court dates n warrants because of the unprofessional staff n my maild being sent back. Ive made multiple complaints to a manager named kimmy who was also very unhelpful n seem to not care at all. I am now very upset to the fact my mail is getting sent back when i legally live in highland park since may. Ridiculous!!!!! I will be getting a lawyer if nothing is done asap!!!!! Spoke to a women named sondra who seemed very hopeful n just as upset as i am. She claiming to help fix my situation but we will see

Terrible the people at the counter are annoying fools. They wouldnt accept my package just because the label that I purchased online was printed 5 days before. Some BA about "quality control". I bought the friggin label they must honor it! Their QC should be focused on these incompetent jokers and making sure our mail gets delivered promptly and undamaged. INSANE! I had to go to the post office in the next town from mine. They accepted it. RIDICULOUS!

Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE service... I was waiting for REdelivery all day IN my apartment and when I checked my mailbox, I found another letter indicating that they did not find me!!! Obviously I was in my apartment the moment they came and, obviously, they never bothered to ring my doorbell... They DO NOT CARE for the customer, period. If I could vote with no star, I would do it... AVOID this USPS office! This is what I would definitely recommend.

Horrible...wish I could give them no stars. Every employee in this office is beyond rude and disrespectful. They treat customers like dirt and clearly dont care about their jobs. Mail gets lost and miss delivered every day. They yell at you for asking questions. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Never before in any other post office have I experienced the kind of treatment they give people. Disgraceful.

Never had a problem here at all. The thing is, if you come here unprepared and clueless (as most do), then honestly you get what is coming to you. If you think a clerk is a bit abrasive or rude, well then try being nice to them regardless and you will see a different side sometimes.

I strongly support the USPS. It serves everyone, not just profitable routes. Where else can you send something thousands of miles for 49 cents? Unfortunately, the staff at this branch are often intolerant of typical customer behavior. Maybe they would be happier doing deliveries.

Called 10 times exactly to have them hold a package that they had only attempted delivery once. Gave them the exact address and they said it would be delivered. Instead it was sent back to sender which is in another country. Very unprofessional

I no longer use this post office to send any of my mail.. very unprofessional employees & lets not get in to it about the people that deliver your mail.. i pay for service i expect to get my moneys worth... prefer edison post office
