Apparently Im not the only one annoyed by these nutheads at USPS Ridgefield. I was waiting for my package with DC# that was out for delievery today...saw the mailman drop by so I checked it after I walked my dog. He managed to deliever two envelopes of unwanted and unnecessary letters but failed to deliever my package with DC# that was clearly specified as "Out for Delievery" in Track & Confirm. Very frustrating. When I called USPS Ridgefield, all I heard from the girl who worked there was "I dont know, I dont know." Apparently she doesnt know anything to be working there with such a lousy attitude. USPS Ridgefield blows.////////////////////Follow up review..so I didnt get my item delievered today again. Tracking says "Delievery Status Not Updated." Called USPS Ridgefield, only to hear excuses. And the girl I spoke to for unfortunate 4~5 times in a row for 2 days turns out to be the supervisor there...seriously? She said the mailman dropped bunch of packages in front of my door...well, my door is up on the stairs and I have mailbox attached to the stair wall so he doesnt have to walk up everyday...unless its signature confirmation. Clearly the mailman is lying there and shes giving ridiculous excuses. So I asked about the status and she said "he forgot to scan it." Whats the point of DC# then? I asked. She repeats "He forgot to scan it" 5 times like a parrot. Filed two claims on USPS for my missing item and horrible customer service by the parrot girlie. Unlike Ridgefield, the guy that I spoke to in person at USPS Palisades Park was awesome. Dont know his position but seemed liked he was in charge. Dark skin & dark hair, great customer service and very professional. Thank you sir. Ive experienced two extreme different kind of supervisors in one day. Thx for reading sucha long review and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! No...not you parrot girle...hope you get fired.

This has happened a couple of times I have a package out for delivery the mailman delivers the mail but not the packages call the post office they tell me that the route has been divided by three of the postman which I dont believe I saw the post man in the morning that was delivering to other houses he was the same postman that 5 hours later deliver the package I dont understand why they deliver mail and then sometimes later on they come back again and deliver the packages makes no sense. Updated post office lost two package, tracking said was out for delivery. How does that happen I need to get very lightly like it was no big deal.

I dont understand why its a consistent HORRIBLE service at the Ridgefield location. The workers are miserable and rude with ZERO personality. It gets worse and worse every experience I have with anyone. WORD OF ADVICE....CHANGE OF CAREER!!!! I normally go to the Edgewater location, but I didnt think dropping off a prepaid package was going to be such a dilemma. I guess it was too much to click and scan :/

Wow this was the worst serviced post office Ive ever visited in my life. The old ladies working there were just there to count money, rather than helping their customers. I didnt know someone would get paid for serving clients like that lol never wanna experience that kind of service again. Using fedex from now on although it costs me a bit more.

Is there 0 star button?. Wow this place sucks.. the workers suck at handling anything or even understanding anything customers say..from the manager to the owner that has crazy hair. Please do not go to this one if you can. I believe they have same owner as the palisades park one. Gosh... learn how to speak english

Im calling out the city Mayor of this town. Please read all this comments about this USPS. They are telling the truth about them not doing a good service. A big office but only one is working in the front desk. It takes 20 minutes to help another person. Zero poor customer service. Please do some action.

Why do these people always lose packages, and when asked for the lost packages, become all rude and unhelpful? They lose my packages. This is the worst run post office! I like my local carrier but if hes out then I wont get my packages. The so called supervisor I spoke with was not nice to deal with either. Come on! Get it together and just deliver the mail!!!

I invite those who think this isnt a good post office to come out to Brooklyn and try out our fine establishments. I have always been assisted with courtesy at this location and Im usually out the door within 15 minutes.
