Well, I have had two erroneous address incidents since I requested my address change on January 18th. A car seat was delivered to my future Park place Fort lee address on Jan 24th instead of my current address. I stated very clearly that the mail was not to be forwarded until February 3rd. U have the confirmation e-mail stating this change was not to be until the 3rd of February and the change was made official on precisely January 18th. This caused a lot of grief and frustration tracking my package down. The second incident happened on January 28th with another package being sent to an address I dont even have listed under my name. The package was forwarded to Durand place in Rochelle park Nj.. This is actually the address is an ex girlfriend who lived with me 2 years ago!! I dont know how this happened but again, this was of no fault of my own. Im very unhappy about the lack of reliability with the usps and especially this specific post office.I clearly see why so many of us are using alternative shipping carriers for their products. I have asked by e-mail and phone to speak to a supervisor about this matter and I have had no reply yet. When I spoke to Bergenfield post office regarding this matter, they said they did not know about the date of the address change because they didnt receive the information. I asked them then how did they know of the address change in the first place and where to forward my package? Its obvious it was a mistake solely made by this post office. The second incident Im still waiting to hear a reply about because at no time was that address listed on any forwarding documents, nor is my name associated with that address whatsoever.. Im glad Im moving this week for good out of Bergenfield, this has got to be the worst and most frustrating experience with a "professional" shipping service Ive ever dealt with..

Asked this Post Office to hold my package til the next day. Went in and the lady told me the package wasnt there. She also basically lied to my face about my package being out for delivery. There was no package delivered. Tracking shows it is in this PO. I still to this day have not gotten my package so they probably lost my package somehow. Dont bother with this place unless you have a very simple task. Even then they really dont have a sense of customer service at all and arent really friendly to customers.

Went to pick up a package and the woman was so rude and was completely put out that she had to go into the back to get it. When she came back to the front she huffed and complained that it was "way in the back and hard to get to", then she came to the counter and literally threw it at my daughter. No wonder everyone prefers going to Tenafly or Dumont, the Bergenfield post office is a disgrace!

I see why the USPS is losing money, went to buy a book of stamps and some international stamps, 5 customers were in front on me waiting as well, the lady behind the counter looked like she was lost, the guy behind the counter was heavy set and taking his sweet time. either they was extremely bored to work or did not want to work that day.

Obviously this place has never heard of a telephone. I waited for an initial answering of the phone for 20 minutes. The worst part I finally get on the phone with a guy and he immediately responds saying my package is on a pallet shrink wrapped. CONVERSATION LASTED 45 seconds.
