Attention my fellow females: I stopped in here for an oil change and was given a list of 3 MAJOR repairs that allegedly needed to be done to my car. The grand total of these repairs came to nearly $3,000!!!!!! Id only stopped in for an oil change! I quickly brought my car to my long-time mechanic who told me that everything was fine. He was actually flabbergasted at the line of bull-crap the guys at 8-Minute Oil had handed me. ALSO, while I was waiting behind the glass for my oil change to be completed, the guys in the garage kept turning around to look at me, whisper, gesture towards me and chuckle amongst themselves. I felt like I was being critiqued and criticized and it made me very uncomfortable. I also feel that they tried to rip me off because I am a young woman who doesnt know much about cars. Girls, DONT believe everything you hear from the mouths of mechanics... especially if the quoted price is astronomical! Get second and third opinions whenever you can, be conscientious, listen to your instincts and dont let yourself be treated like a piece of meat!

NEVER EVR GOING BACK TO THE PLACE!!! Please do not go to this place for anything. I guess all their reviews are fake. I was so dissapoointed by their services and they were RUDE!!! Here is my exeriance. March 2013. I went to them for a oil change. They told me that i need a tire rotation,I was like ok. and when evything was done they chrged me around $100. I was not that disappointed yet . After i started driving my car the Car was swirling on the other side. I imediatly took it to another repair shop. They figgured out that the 8 minute Oil Chnage people put 42 air pressure instead of 32 and they have placed the wrong tires in and also broke one of my air pressure sensor. Evrything costed me around $200 to get eveyrhting fixed what they did wrong. So plaese guys do not go to this place. NEVER. They are just bunch of new mechanic who i guess have a very little knowledge about cars. They will ripp you off.

Ive gotten multiple cars serviced here for many reasons, from Ford to BMW. The service is excellent. John does great work and weve always gotten our cars back in a reasonable amount of time. Price is great and so is the quality of work. Never had to take a car back for the same issue or any other issues shortly afterwards. For my BMW he used all OEM parts and I saved a lot of money on labor and diagnostics compared to if I took it to BMW. John is very honest. This is not one of those places that try to scheme and take money from their customers. He always showed me exactly what was wrong with the car, what parts he is replacing, why it should be done, etc. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy mechanic.

Any place that is designed to do oil changes usually dont have any real technicians. I am an exotic car technician and what I can say is you cant trust 85% of mechanics out. Truthful guys are out there but we are hard to find. My suggestion is stay away from chains and lube places and find someone who has had an established business for a few years. Most guys are on commission and need you to fix your car in order to survive. Its a difficult industry on both sides of the fence.

My wife and I have gone to this place for 3-4 years before we moved away from the area. The team here is top notch, honest, and attentive. The prices were reasonable and got us back on the road in no time. During the years on our two cars: routine oil changes, air filter changes, tire replacement / repair, brake replacement, alternator replacement, serpentine belt replacement all done to our full satisfaction. A one stop shop for sure! Im going to miss going to these guys.

Probably the most honest business people in Springfield. They are fast, courteous, professional, knowledgeable and above all honest and friendly. One time the assistant manager Sammy actually welded the bottom of my car back in place - and didnt charge me for it. You will get the best service in Springfield here. I rely on them for all my basic automotive needs including tire change. A+

Was very impressed.my first visit. Im a car guy and places dont really check the fluids when they say they do. This place works hard for a fair price. They checked everything, filled my tires, washed my windows and vacuumed the floor. Come on - that isnt common in my experience. And service with a smile. Good job fellas. Ill be back for sure.

I started coming here for oil changes because theyd come highly recommended in forums online and now I have my repairs done here, as well. Fast, reliable, and they havent tried to upsell me on anything I dont actually need. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.
