Mike has literally save me THOUSANDS of dollars since he replace my transmission about 5 yrs ago in my 01 Honda Accord.. Honda had problems with their factory installed transmissions and their defect forced to replace it around 120K miles (past the warranty)... My car is now at 240K miles (runs like a beast- gotta luv Japanese engineering) and Ive had NOT ONE single problem with the transmission (its crazy and Ive never changed the transmission fluid- not once) . Ive wanted to sell it and get another one (because I am in sales- and just getting sick of the car) but my mechanic told me that would be stupid- since I would get relatively no money- and the major parts (transmission etc) are still in excellent shape.. So Im going to keep the car - use that for my day to day sales job- and lease something nice that I can take the family in... In closing- I cant say enough good things about their work- they are honest and build their products to last-- which is uncommon in the industry.. Highly recommend.. 9.12.12- Just took my car back to Mike again when I found out he did brakes.. Again, they did a great job. I had previously been taking my Honda to Monro to get serviced but was constantly going back and felt I never got the right answer from them. Mike suggested since I drive more miles than most- that I replace all the brakes and rotors with high quality ceramic pads and special therma-quiet rotors... Took it out for about 80 miles today and the car is braking better than when I first bought it.. Again, if your looking for a shop thats knowledgable and is interested in not just giving you the cheapest but best service.. I highly recommend Mike at Wholesale...

First let me start by saying theres nothing worse than having to be stuck in the middle of nowhere and not knowing what to do.. I will admit I knew I was having transmission issues but wasnt able to afford getting new one.. I Google searched transmission repairs near me.. thats where I was given wholesale transmissions .. Mike answered the phone and guides me through the entire process .. he also gets the vehicle towed to there facility at NO CHARGE TO ME.. HOW GREAT IS THAT!! Soon after looking at my vehicle and with great shock was told it was repairable and I dont have to replace it.. now let me start by saying if anyone has ever been to an independent shop you know to expect the wost.. but no.. that wasnt the situation here.. My vehicle was towed repaired and back to me in less the 2 days.. and cant express how wonderful everything turned out and the only regret I had was the fact that I didnt do it sooner.! Thank Wholesale transmissions you guys where GREAT!! KEEP IT UP !! YOU KNOW YOU NOW HAVE A LIFE TIME CUSTOMER.. and did I mention.. they also do servicing.. how great is that!!! THANK YOU GUYS .. YOUR ALL WONDERFULL!!

FAULTY POOR QUALITY WORK AND PARTS..!! , MY TRANSMISSION WAS REBUILT BY THIS SHOP FOR APROX $2000. AFTER 8 MONTHS MY TRANSMISSION STARTED FAILING AND NOT SHIFTING CORRECT. FINALY THE TRANSMISSION COMPLETLY FAILED. WHOLESALE TRANMISSION SAID THEY WANT ME TO PAY THEM AGAIN TO FIX IT.?? I AM A VICTIM OF FAULTY POOR QUALITY WORK, THEY SAID YOUR WARRENTY EXPIRED AND THEY REFUSED TO STAND BY THERE WORK AND PROVIDE A QUALITY TRANSMISSION REPAIR AND QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE... MY BRAKES LASTED LONGER THAN THE TRANSMISSION THEY REBUILT. THIS IS ALL TRUE. THEY ALSO TRIED TO UP SELL ME MORE SERVICE BY TELLING YOU THAT MY BATTERY IS WEAK AND I NEED SERVICE ON MY ENGINE... MY CAR WAS JUST TUNED UP AND SERVICED 2 WEEKS BEFORE. I AM A VICTIM OF FAULTY TRANSMISSION WORK AND PARTS ..I AM OUT OF POCKET $2000 ..AND HAVE A NON WORKING TRANSMISSION THAT NEEDS TO BE REBUILT AGAIN.. FOLLOW UP...TOOK MY CAR TO A DIFFERNT SHOP AND THEY TOLD ME WHOLESALE TRANSMISSION DID NOT REPLACE ALOT OF WORN PARTS IN THE TRANSMISSION. I DID NOT GET WHAT I PAID FOR. THEY DO LOW QUALITY WORK.

Mike and Jerry at Wholesale Transmissions have worked wonders on all of my cars! Ive been coming to them for years and have found that their work is always top-notch and they are extremely reliable, knowledgeable, and dependable. I have brought my Honda, Volkswagen, and Saab to them....some of which are not easy to work by any means. They always give me great advice and really take the time to explain what my issues are and how best to address them. They also dont charge me to hook up to my computer to pull error codes when my check engine light is on - something that dealers and other mechanics want up to $100 just to do (which is absurd, as it takes 2 minutes). Whether you have a domestic or import....whether you are looking for a transmission repair, engine maintenance, brakes, or just an oil change....Wholesale Transmission can do it all. Do yourself a favor and stop looking for a reliable and fair mechanic - Wholesale Transmission is a one-stop shop that you can always count on.

I found this company on the internet. The ad stated $1600.00 but our actual costs were over $3000 because they said there were more issues than the transmission itself. I didnt mind paying the extra because they said it was necessary. The tow was free and the job took about 5 days due to the holidays and weekend. Once they had my car I was told that contrary to the ads there is only a one year warranty and not a lifetime warranty that the internet ad said. Even today on one site it says 3 years warranty. Customer service at the shop is very good. Its only been 6 weeks and everything appears to be ok. I hope the transmission keeps up good and lasts for more than one year. UPDATE: I was given a 3 year 36000 miles warranty after Mike saw this review. Along with the courtesy oil change and the 500 mile check I now consider this as superior service. I will highly recommend Wholesale Transmissions. If there is anything you are not satisfied with ask to speak with Mike.

Generally, I dont do reviews, but I do believe that when it is earned, credit should be given. That said, I started taking my cars to Wholesale Trans/Auto Repairs about a year ago. I have 4 cars that combined dont add up to 1 solidly reliable car, but with the service Ive gotten from Whlsl Trans, one of them is always ready and running. Michael and Jerry seem to genuinely care about the customer (they battled with a warranty company ON MY BEHALF even though theyd get paid more if I had to pay for the job), and offer good pricing and great work. They constantly point out ways to save a little bit here and there, and even direct you to the competition if its in your best interest!! Wholesale is definitely an auto service center that I would (and do) recommend.

I want to recant my previous review. After I had my experience with wholesale transmission in fords nj.well I received a call from the real owner and I can tell he was the owner I felt the passion in his voice and concern for 1.the way I was treated 2. Concern for my vehicle 3.the reputation of his business that he built with his long time employee SHAWN.So my problem was with James who clearly a middle man that clearly didnt care about any any of my 3 points at the top! So my apologies to mike and wholesale transmission team.also thanks to mike for actually checking my car and resetting the computer which fixed my problem and not the 5000$ transmission. James is no longer in the picture! Thank you again.
