The employees are very friendly and helpful, but a couple months after I had an alignment my front right wheel came off the car. I had been noticing an odd "looseness" in the suspension, but only when turning the steering wheel to the far left and backing out of a parking space. After having my car towed to a mechanic, the mechanic asked me if I had had a recent alignment, and went on to explain what happened. Apparently, there are 2 big bolts that are manipulated during an alignment, the upper bolt was literally missing. That mechanic (a front end specialist for 50 years), and the senior mechanic at Toyota said in their combined 70 years experience they had never seen this happen, and both said the only way this could have happened is if the bolt wasnt tightened after the alignment. I made Stetson aware, but only for safetys sake. Had this happened while I was on the GSP...forget it! Hopefully this was a learning experience for them as it was for me...I will never have an alignment done without checking the bolts after.
