This place is the REAL DEAL. I cant recommend it enough, and I would give it ten stars if I could. Steve, (who I believe is the owner) is one of the most honest, reliable, trustworthy mechanics weve used in YEARS. His prices are very reasonable, hes flexible, and he gets your car in quickly for whatever repairs you need done. Weve used him several times, and were very pleased with his work. Quick story-we took our 9 year old car to Steve after having tires replaced at ETD in Hillsdale where they told us our ball bearinghim,n our front right tire were very loose, and in need of immediate repairs ( to the tune of close to $300.) We were told to not drive the car, as it could be dangerous. I was very worried because we were planning to take a three day trip to PA the next day, and wanted to use this car. I called Steve later that afternoon and asked if he could give us a second opinion. He got us right in, put the car up on the lift, and to our shock and surprise, said there were no issues with the ball bearings- the tire bolts were just loose!! He tightened them up for us, and said we were good to go on our trip, no worries. When we offered to pay him, he said just maybe bring him a coffee when I was in the area, despite giving up 15 minutes of his time for us. This kind act speaks volumes of his integrity and character, and he will be the ONLY one to get our business when either of us needs work done on our older cars. So if your looking for a rare gem of a mechanic that will do honest work on your car, please call DNA, and ask for Steve. Were so happy we found him, thank you Steve!!!!!

Steve is really knowledgeable and service-oriented. I was having issues with my passenger side front wheel making a ton of racket and feeling generally "loose" after a very low speed accident in 2014. Id been to 3 mechanics before about the problem, each one replaced some part (to the tune of over $1000), but it never felt or sounded right. When I went to DNA for an oil change, I asked Steve to take a look at that wheel - its always been a mess, but weve driven 20k+ miles and it hasnt flown off into the highway (yet). He took one look and thought it may be the bearings. He said the car I have is particularly prone to bearing issues, and this is likely the problem. Id never had the bearings replaced at any of the other mechanics, so sure, why not? He took a look, quoted me a reasonable price and gave the car back to me at the end of the day. Lo and behold, the car is LIKE NEW AGAIN. Since the initial accident in 2014 the car has been annoying to drive and noisy. Pulling out of DNAs parking lot and feeling it actually take a bump or a turn without squeaking or knocking around was a huge relief. Thank you Steve!

DNA (used to be American) is a top notch auto repair location. Service is phenomenol. My husband Chuck and I will only use Steve! Weve even brought my childrens cars there for repair. My daughter purchased a used Subaru, and it was comforting to know Steve worked for Subaru for years before DNA!
