I agree with most of the reviews about the staff. They can be an unfriendly bunch, and I really dont like having to stop at the front desk for anything. To be fair, though, its not a bad place for the money. Yes, it can get crowded during the week, but there are always machines available. The best part of my Crunch membership are my sessions with Warren, my personal trainer. I cant say enough good things about him. I joined the gym after going through a very lengthy, very serious health crisis. I signed up for my initial sessions with him mainly for the supervision and to learn how to exercise with my medical restrictions. Warren had to start at the very bottom with me, but Ive made great progress and am enjoying it immensely. He is as professional as they come, encouraging, supportive and fun. Never thought that I would laugh during training sessions, but I do, a lot. If youre interested in training, I highly recommend him. Ive read the reviews about the cost for personal training at Crunch, and I honestly dont find the package prices to be unreasonable.

Crunch at Woodbridge is a pretty decent place to work out but the condition that they keep this gym is HORRIBLE , the bathroom always stink like they never clean , i would never take a dump there even if i had dhiarrea id rather s**t my pants , floors are always dusty looks like they never clean before opening or closing.. the staff are not friendly AT ALL , they need better staff that actually have good customer service because the ones who are there never even greet you back , only the black guy with glasses is friendly too bad i dont know his name but he should be a manager or something ! UPDATE : 07/15/2017 - this is my third time coming at 6:15AM on a SATURDAY and theyre still CLOSED , theres a bunch of us waiting outside and they never open on time theyre supposed to open at 6AM !!!! first time i just came back home , second time i waited and the dude didnt come until 7 and this time im done i will be going to a different one , this is ridiculous whoever is supposed to open is very irresponsible ! thats what happens when you put kids in charge !!!!!

Not too sure why people feel the need to complain so much. This gym is far from as bad as people on here are saying. I mean come on dont you realize that the condition of the club is not just in the hand of the staff its in the hands of the members as well. Being a member here i have seen straight up disrespect from other members. Throwing garbage on the ground, dropping water bottles and just walking away, breaking machines and just leaving. When i drop something or break something i just go and tell a staff member and they take care of it. The gym is not that dirty maybe a little bit of dust but its a huge facility. I have seen the GM Erik literally on his hands and knees today scrubbing the toilets. I have seen him walk around and clean treadmills for an hour and vacuuming the club. So i think most people just need to take responsibility for themselves and have some gym etiquette.

I love Crunch in Woodbridge because of three reasons. 1. Cheryl at the front desk. I show up at 7AM and Im not really chatty/friendly, but Cheryl remembers every single member and greets them by name, expresses interest in their well-being, asks about family members, and is a wonderful person. She totally makes a good place much better. 2. Theres a real sense of community among the regulars. Its my favorite place in town to chat with similar-minded locals. We look out for each other and encourage one another to keep going and working toward our goals. I know I can always get a spotter or a listening ear. 3. If you have a $20/month membership, it includes unlimited guest passes, which is a great way to encourage family/friends to get addicted to working out without costing them anything. Overall, great place to workout, meet people, and make friends.

Horrible, you can never find the right weights, some times you have to look around for bar clamps and even the bars them selfs. Not only that I cancelled my membership but was called and told I had a fee. When I went to tell them I had cancelled my membership they had said I hadnt but in there record it showed how I had not gone to the gym. I told them that it was fine and that I wanted to cancel so they hit me with a late fee as well as the cancellation fee. I was never late, its Just that there workers did not know what they where doing. Now i have to Pay for that? Right now, i owe them about 6months of membership because you are not aloud to cancel unless you pay your fee, that means the price keeps going up and up. overall terrible gym, wi-if doesnt work and there personal training is over priced. Not only that but horrible staff.

I am shocked at what people are saying, specifically about the staff!!! They are great. They greet you politely when you walk in, treat you respectively while you are there and always make sure to say good-bye on your way out. I go there to work out!! I do not go there to use my phone or text people during my training, unlike so many people that do. The bathrooms are maintained but we must also make sure we flush the toilets, dont let things on the ground that dont belong anywhere but in the garbage. It is a 2-way street. As for what happens to the equipment...well if people used the proper weights and did not slam the weights down the equipment wouldnt break!!!!

The gym is convenient for me and the morning staff is very friendly. However, this gym is very unsanitary and unkept. Its very surprising to me that this has been an issue since day 1 and nothing has been done about it. Its definitely a sign of very poor management and an untrained staff. There is usually garbage and dust bunnies everywhere, in the same spots, for days and days. The equipment is also unmaintained and probably hasnt been wiped down by their staff since the club opened. Its too bad because it could be a really great place to workout. Im disappointed every morning, not a great start to my day. I hope it changes so I dont have to cancel.

People who works here terrible. Ive been trying to close my account, manager is never there after 7 pm and i get out from work after 7 pm. I explained them my situation how i cannot go to post office or take time off from work. If i had the time to go to the post office, i would just go their place to cancel it... Rudely they told me to i have to make time or have someone go to the post office on my behalf.. I disputed the charges, but they are still charging my card with disputes and monthly payments even though my account seems over due now. This place is a rip off, employees are not friendly. I do not recommend this place to anybody...

I was a member. I was supposed to have my free personal training session and it happened to be a blizzard that day. They called me an hour prior to confirm my appointment not 24 hours prior. When I told the moron that I wasnt coming he said he would have to charge me. When I spoke to the moron GM he defended his idiot. John Geary the gm who signed me up talked all about him and how he was getting ready to do a fitness competition. That is all he is concerned with. He never smiles and has the worst attitude. Never would I step foot in that place again nor recommend it.
