I joined Absolute Fitness in January 2010 and cant imagine going anywhere else. I love the personal attention that I get at Absolute Fitness and how the personal training that they offer is personally tailored to me and not some cookie cutter workout. Before coming to Absolute Fitness, I had never been one to do anything athletic and I was always pretty intimidated to workout because I never knew what I was doing nor did I have the stamina to actually achieve any results or continue a program for very long. Plus, all the personal trainers that I tried at the big box gyms never really cared if I achieved any goals or even showed up for that matter! But that has all changed since coming to Absolute Fitness - I not only have noticed changes in my waistline but changes in my energy level and attitude outside of my workouts and it seems to continuously improving day by day - and that is worth every penny to me! The personal trainers Rob & Jerry genuinely care about your progress and your goals and are great motivators to help you get there. I would highly recommend all the services offered by Absolute Fitness (personal training and group classes) - they are awesome, challenging, fun, and tailored to YOU. An example of how my sessions are tailored to me is that I live in Matawan, NJ and work in New York City and so I am gone 12 hrs a day for my job but my personal Trainer Rob is willing to meet me at 5am to do my personal training so I can still get a personal workout in and get to work on time. In addition, all the group classes are 7:30pm or later during the week or on Saturday - so once again it works with a working persons schedule. Last, while I have weight issues to work on - I also have scoliosis and so my workouts are tailored to help me with posture problems. I have a long way to go but in the 6 months that I have been coming to Absolute Fitness, the pain in my back/shoulders and my range of motion has improved tremendously. I encourage all to join Absolute Fitness -- I gave it 5 stars because that is all they had -- but they really deserve 10 stars! :)

The owner (not rob) was a Complete arrogant "coach" with horrible sales incentive. I went for the "free 1 on 1 trial" and mentioned Im looking for a place to start up my crossfit journey and I had visited a near by gym, he immediately stated that his time is money and he wouldnt give me a trial unless I was serious. I followed by saying if I liked the place I would think about joining. We continued to the trial which was a decently challenging workout seeing as though Ive never really done crossfit. When we finished he said if I was doing twice a week or 3 times. I told him if I could write down the prices and I would get back to them. After he searched for his pen for about 5 minutes he said to write it on my phone and if I wasnt joining then to not come back until I was serious. Yes the facilities were decent but he really needs to work on his relationship with future clients because he pretty much drove me away from joining with his arrogance. His behavior reflects on his whole team and he really needs to fix it because hes only pushing away people who are looking to join the crossfit movement. Fitness is one of my passions and if Im going to invest my money into a fitness center I want to be comfortable not only with the facilities but also with the trainer running the place. I dont really write these but I feel that it needed to be stated before curious people looking to change their lifestyle change their mind about fitness because of the arrogant trainers they encounter.

Before arriving to Absolute Fitness, I was feeling depressed. This is odd considering I am madly in love, have an inspiring job that I look forward to going to everyday which I just happen to get promoted and a raise for this month, I have the best friends, and a loving family. Things seemed to be perfect, until I looked in the mirror and saw this girl looking back at me who I didnt recognize. Somehow I lost control of my body and I needed to do something to get it back. When I walked into Absolute Fitness the stress I felt about never being able to bounce back left me with one simple session with Jerry & Rob. Im now excited to finish my day so I can run to the gym and workout with the people I now call friends. Absolute Fitness provides me with the variety of workouts that keep me interested in coming back everyday. Although I feel like I can never make it through the sessions, I am constantly being cheered on by the other participants as well as the trainer to keep going and never give up. Its amazing that in such a short time I feel as though my goals are within reach, where as before they were impossible.

I’ve been a member of corporate gyms and small studios. The thing about those places is that you really have to be self-motivated. More than just pushing yourself to get there everyday, you have to research the best foods and workouts for your body type. At Absolute, the trainers do it for you. This works best for me, because when it comes to this stuff, I’m clueless. I want to be fit and healthy, but have no idea where to start. Considering how much I spent for a membership and personal training at a big gym, this is a steal. The group fitness training at Absolute really does feel like a team, or better yet a family. Everyone in the group classes are so positive and motivating. I walk away from the gym every night with more than just calories burned and fitness goals reached - friends apparently come included in the package.

I started going to the Absolute Fitness NJ Bootcamps about 18 months ago and have been training with Rob for about a year...I will NEVER go to a "big box" gym again. I generally get bored easily with structured workouts, treadmills, and repetative routines but after this long Im still suprised every day with something new...no two workouts have EVER been the same. There is a constant mixing of strength and cardio training. Both Rob and Jerry at Absolute Fitness understand their clients individual goals and do whatever they can to make sure that those goals are reached unlike gym-hired trainers who really dont seem to care. Ive seen fantastic results in my own strength, endurance, and fat loss...and had so much fun while doing it! Programs are affordable for any budget, but the results are priceless!

My Personal trainer Jerry and Absolute fitness has changed my life. When people ask me how I lost 50lbs along with 19" I tell them how I learned with my trainer how to eat right and excersie with the right combination of cardio and weights. I also love the bootcamp along with other classes that is offered at the studio. The trainers Jerry and Rob encourge you every step of the way and help you achieve your personal goal. Come to Absolute Fitness and see for yourself . Prices are very reasonable and worth every penny. Nancy

I came to CrossFit732 fat, out of shape and asking for help. I love that being at CF732 lets me be in a supportive group atmosphere yet still allows me to go at my speed. Rob and Jerry are experts in modifying exercises so folks like me, or someone recovering from an injury, can do the exercises and "workout of the day" while making sure we are getting stronger and faster. They give constant advice on stretches, how to improve form, and how to keep improving our mental game.
