I am not the one to write a review. But had to do it today. Taking a private swim lesson for kids at Rwj could be taxing. I Understand once in while coaches have emergencies and May not be able to honor the time commitment. But 4 times in 4 months!! No notice of any kind that they are sick or family emergency and lesson is cancelled etc. You are left wondering after taking a 8 mile one way trip at peak hour on route 9 - what exactly happened ? Tells you how mismanaged the whole place is. And it is really not about the money - but dare you ask for a refund all you get is silence. Instructors Anne D, then Kat - it is all the same. Aquatics manager changes almost quarterly I think because nobody cares. Just wrote an email to Girogi, manager at RWJ NB. The 2 stars are for good job that Jose does with kids.

Thirty day cancellation policy. If you cancel even a couple of days into the 30 day period, you will pay an additional months membership fee. The additional fee is waived only with dated documentation stating permanent disability, death, or moving more than 25 miles away. I had submitted two doctor notes notifying them of my chronic back pain. The notes were ignored because "permanent disability" was not stated. I even contacted the General Manager. He said their 30 day policy was generous and he would call me to discuss the issue. He never did. Fitness & Wellness is a regular gym that likes to affiliate themselves with big hospital names (RWJ and CentraState among others). There is no compassion for people with medical problems as evidenced by their cancellation policy.

No folks on roids running around like crazy. Mature educated crowd, very nice staff and very clean facility. I love the sauna and steam room. Price is fair for the service and follow ups you receive from their "health professionals" that includes in house nurse routine test, periodic physical assessments and follow ups.

Really didnt like the place very unsanitary old guys shaving in the steam room old men walking with they balls out and a very rude administration especially one Rachel Morris very rude with an attitude not a very nice people person at all definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL

Very rude especially one Rachel Morris and most of the lifeguard staff .would not recommend at all very unsanitary (old men shaving in steam room) and very naked old men walking around all over the locker rooms with younger children their attending their swimming lessons

I am a former member who came in from out of town for a few days and wanted to use the facility for aqua classes. A guest pass was arranged expeditiously and with a smile. Excellent customer service!
