Okay so I have been going to Planet Fitness since July 2014. I have the BlackCard. Today (10/15/2014) I went to meet my cousin at Planet Fitness for a workout. I got there a bit before she did. It was drizzling outside and there are stairs on the front of the building. On the front walkway. I went down and realized I forgot my water bottle in the car. I stepped on the first step and I slipped off. The stair was wet and the grip tape that was on the stair was warn away. It was on the edges of the stair but not the middle where the most traffic must come thru. When I fell I scrapped my leg and the fall caused my IPhone 5C screen to shatter. The area was also unlit. I went inside and asked for the manager, who was out getting dinner I was informed. I waited for him to get back and spoke with him. His name was Mike. Mike offered to give me three months free and then an extra month. And offered to give me a gym bag. I said that I appreciated it but that still didnt add up to the $160 phone deductible I will have to pay for a new phone. I just bought this phone less than a week ago. He said he could throw in some tanning lotion or something. I dont even tan. Im sorry your stairs were not safe and I fell. I just wish Planet Fitness would help me out with my phone. I dont mind paying the $20 a month. I wish they would just help me buy a new phone since mine was suffered significant damage at there fault. ANOTHER thing was he said there was no cameras in that area so he didnt know if it even happened here. Great. What if the place was robbed.. no camera. Jesus. In the end I took the gym bag and free months offered. It was generous I just wish it was them helping me out with the phone.

I love coming here. Ive never been a big gym enthusiast but the staff here are extraordinary. The one girl I met when I walked in months ago, S. Boardman, has encouraged me every day! She offers me tips, is my constant cheerleader and if she cant answer my question, Victoria the trainer is very quick to help. I was someone who detested exercise and now, I LOVE escaping to Planet Fitness. No one bothers me and the staff are exemplary!! I am grateful every day for my incredibly peaceful and rewarding escape!! Thanks guys!! You guys are the absolute best! You know who Im talking about!! I cant thank you enough, not really but thanks again, Ive NEVER felt better.

Not sure why the google maps place marker for this planet fitness is on Cannon Street in Poughkeepsie. The planet fitness is on Route 9 past Marist, but before CIA. 3675 Albany Post Rd is technically the correct address though. Ive submitted the correct position for the place marker, just waiting for Google to review and update it. Oh and for the Planet Fitness its ok, just another Planet Fitness. I havent been there in a while but the water out of the fountains use to be pretty bad, so make sure to take enough of your own...unless theyve fixed it.

I love the gym. I have been going here for 5 months and love it. I have gain alot of muscle mass and tone and will continue to grow. Its a good atmosphere if you go at night. Its clean and the machines are always available and dont have to wait for someone to get off. I just get in, change and start my weight lifting. The people that work there greet you and answer any concerns that you may have.

I have to say, there really isnt a better deal out there that offers unlimited tanning and use of equipment, its also a place where you can shower, sit and enjoy a beverage, or simply sit in the message chair! I had been a customer since like 2009 and due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to terminate my membership. Eventually I will sign up again. Its definitely worth it.

Not complicated. You can schedule a time for trainers to show you how to use equipment. Showers if needed. Lockers but need to bring own lock. Only for use while there. Very clean. I have full membership so I can use aqua massage table due to lumbar issues. I have no pain afterwards. I am only uncomfortable with weight section of gym.

Great staff. Bad smells, specially at (pizza night), and no refreshment, no freshener or opened windows, feels like locked up with Sweat smells. Thats the only problem really, sometimes I bring my own refreshers... :) and some people like that too.. but I mean its good to just leave an open window and those in wall fresheners.

Gym is dingy, dirty, and overpriced. Worse, when you try to end your membership, the gym puts every contractual hurdle into place hoping that they can just continue to bill you. If you live far from the gym, they force you to send a certified letter or to go to the physical location to cancel which is impractical. F-

Terrible, Absolutely Terrible The staff are not helpful or accommodating. If I could give zero stars I would. Signing up for this account was a massive mistake. Once you are signed up they make you jump threw tons of hoops to change or cancel. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Awful.

Staff are terrible. Ask them a question and they will misguide you. When you walk in all they do is stand and stare. Why so many people at the front desk, doing absolutely nothing, is beyond me. Mind you the manager is right there with them, just looking.

Great value for the price! Equipment in good condition. Locker rooms are clean. Staff is very friendly. Avoid Mondays, especially after New Years--way too crowded. Also, not a fan of Pizza night (first Monday of the month)--Crowded and smelly.

I Really Love Planet Fitness . When They Say Judgment Free Zone, They Mean It . Im Not Big In To The Whole Exercise Thing, But Since I Started With Planet Fitness, Im Really Getting The Hang Of It And Feeling Great Doing It .
