This used to be a decent gym. I liked that they were always super clean and had good well maintained equipment. Recently they got even newer equipment but took out all the free weights except for the dumbbells. No more squat rack or bench presses. A staff member told me that a "survey" was done and they found that most customers are elderly and women who dont really use the free weights. So basically screw the other demographics that go to their gym. After trying Mac Fitness a few days, I will be canceling my membership. Mac Fitness has tons of free wieghts with many things you would find in a crossfit gym as well, i.e., battle ropes, push sleigh, rope climb, tire flipping, and box jumps. Oh and no silly lunk alarm. So if your a young or middle aged man skip PF and go to a real gym.

Great equipment, very easy to walk in and out and do what I need to do. However, most of the TVs and remotes for them are broken. You cannot insert your headphones into the provided jack and get any audio on ANY of the equipment. They set off the lunk alarm three times in twenty minutes one day- no idea why that was necessary, as you would think after the first or maybe even second time they would remove the problem person. It can be very difficult to use the equipment as well- I know they claim to be a judgement free zone, but using the weight lifting equipment can be very hard when there are whole groups of 3 or more weightlifters or just 3 or more men standing around and intimidating those who also want to use it.

Your failure to address the extensive loss of video opportunities for those of us who regularly spend a lot of time on your equipment reflects that you care little about your member clients. "Corporate" decision making on matters like this equates to micro management. You have terrific staff members on hand who knock themselves out to keep the place clean and to keep members as happy as possible but you require them to answer for your lack of action on matters that concern all or most of your members. How much longer do you think well put up with this? Tell us what your plan is for your facility. Treat us like valued customers rather than numbers on our membership cards. In short, fix the damned TVs!

There is no guidance with the machines. I went up a few times to get help with instruction. One worker showed me how to use the crunch machine and told me not to position my legs the way the picture on the machine instructed. I got an inguinal hernia. I am now in pain, recovering from surgery. Having to miss over a week of work and time with my children. They still havent frozen my account or given me money back for the months I missed. No one Ive spoken to has voiced concern for my situation. Its not a judgement free zone. Its compassion free zone.

The tanning rooms are dirty. I have been to the same bed multiple days and the same garbage is on the floor. The spray bottle has not been refilled. The staff is not friendly, IF they smile at you when greeting you it seems forced. The staff is often talking to one another behind the front desk but the facility is dirty. It seems that their time could be better spent cleaning instead of socializing. Ill be switching my membership. MAC fitness is now less expensive.

I visit this club from out of town from my home clubs in the Albany area. I always thought the facility was clean and modern, yet my two recent experiences here were very disappointing. Out of 15 Cybex machines, only 2-3 have both working sound and video. Although I have an IPod, I prefer tv when doing cardio. The amount of machines that have working audio/video apparatus could fit in my basement. Glad I only visit from out of town.

FIX YOUR EQUIPMENT. TVs are always broken, sound never works. I usually have to go on an odyssey for about 10-15 minutes going around to every treadmill and see if the sound or remote works. something is always being worked on, and nothing ever changes. Im about to just give up and cancel my membership. THE WORST.

This is a great place if you want to hang out and talk to women. Not so great for actually working out. Main clientele are the deconditioned market that rarely show up. They do offer free pizza, bagels and tootsie rolls. Whats up with that? It was only $10 a month, but not worth it.

Gym is fine, but the GPS location leads you to the side of the road a minute or two away from the actual location, so if you dont know the area its a real pain in the ass. Also the WiFi usually doesnt work

Poorly maintained aerobic equipment. WIFI never works, so youre forced to use their broken dilapidated televisions with no stations. Youll get what you pay for here... Just lots of excuses.

I recently moved and transferred my membership to this gym. Its clean and has more updated equipment. If there is a problem with anything, they handle quickly and professionly.

Can be busy, but never usually that bad. Always clean and nice. Bathroom shower suck bc there is no outside area to change right after showering besides actually in the shower.
