I had a HORRID experience here. FIRSTLY after my second visit to gym I noticed a WART growing on my finger. I have never had a wart in my life and from my understanding this is now a problem I will have to deal with for the rest of my life. Apparently they grow, go away, and then come back. SECONDLY I spoke to a young woman (unfortunately I did not grab her name) and asked that my account be closed, she did something in the computer and told me it was done. I SPECIFICALLY asked would my account be charged again she told me no, that I had nothing to worry about it was all done and if I wanted to come back all I had to do is re-sign up she even went as far as to explain different plan options and payment methods. Two moths later I checked my account and realized that PLANET FITNESS made SIX ATTEMPTS to collect payment from my account, resulting in SIX $35.00 return check fees. I made a call to the store manager Toni-Ann and told her my story, she in turn told me that if I wanted to cancel my account I should have went online and done so to avoid the charges ( clearly I would have done so to avoid $210.00 worth of fees in an account that I had no money in.) I explained to her AGAIN that the rep assured me that my account was closed. she then replied that it was a matter that she would have to forward to her regional/district manager Anthony (yes in the same conversation she reffered to the same man as a regional and then a district manager, to my understanding those are two different job titles with two completely different pay grades). She told me that Anthony would be calling me back by the end of the week (upon my request) to let me know how he would be able to help me. A week later I heard nothing so I reached back out to Ms.Toni-ann, she picked up the phone and began tripping over her words as if she was struggling to come up with a story, she explained to me that "Anthony the regional manager" refused to issue me any type of credit and also refused to contact me via phone or email because he was "busy with business" she then told me "unfortunately the $210 worth of fees in your personal bank account is your issue, but what I can do is close out your account here with us. You will still have a balance with us for the two months of service even though you did not come to the gym, but this balance will not affect your credit but if down the line you want to join this gym again you will have to clear this balance first." I told her that was not going to work, I would still like her to insure my account was closed but I would also like her to let Anthony know that I would really like to have contact with him weather it be by phone or email. Just because they do not properly train their employees does not make it fair that I have to pay. Needless to say I still have not heard from Mr.Anthony or Ms.Toni-Ann and there was ANOTHER attempt by Planet Fitness to collect their fee from my account.

For over 2 years, Ive been a member at this center. Ive seen many different faces as they cleaned house and got new management time and time again. I like the facility its convenient and affordability. I never had an issue with it until today. I interacted with 2 employee members gave me such a distasteful perception about the whole place. Under this new management, they hired Jennifer and Jocelyn. Today, TV number 1 was not on the correct channel, CBS. In the past, when this occurred I would just tell the front desk which one of the tv had been changed and they would just fix it accordingly. All the tvs are numbered and have a designated channel---Which is a fantastic idea because you can work out in the same area and catch your favorite shows all in once. (Or in todays case wild card major football game) However, today when I informed Jocelyn about the error--She responded that she would get to changing it momentarily and never got to it. I understood, it was no problem she seemed busy. 60 minutes go by and no change. Again, understanding their situation I decided to ask Jennifer who I ran into while she was giving a tour. Next, the worst customer service dialogued occurred and I was just stunned. I wanted to speak to the manager or get their contact information just to inform and voice my comment/complaint. And 30 minutes later I finally got the managers name out of Jocelyn. Both of these employers handled the situation terribly. They simple ignored my concerns and were clueless about any contact information to their own managers. Which I find very hard to believe and if that is the true (they actually dont know how to contact their managers) then this entire new management is distasteful. Unbelievable, this is suppose to be one of the friendliest centers and mission is all about positivity and these employees literally depicted the opposite.

This place is a PIG STYE!! There are hand pieces to the cables thrown all over the floor, there are weights, matts and benches everywhere but where they belong, its so bad some of the machines look like they have reached puberty because the floor around them is full of hair and dust that never gets cleaned. The new Management and Staff (as of August 2016) are Rude, Patronizing, Condescending "Children" who dont say hello or goodbye, if you go to them with a problem it wont be addressed and youll be ostracised!!!!! (judgement free-zone my Gluteus Maximus!) Most of the patrons of this gym are Self-Important, Egocentric petite bourgeoisie who think other patrons are their maid/mother and have nothing better to do but pick up after them!! So unless you want A) An Infection! B) To be treated like Detritus by the staff!! C) to be then Unpaid Maid of other patrons, I suggest to find another gym!!!!!

When I first went, I didnt mind it. I did however mind when people (other females) would gawk at me like I was some strange human jogging on the treadmill. I brushed it off since I went there to blow off some major steam. I went back a few more times as its part of my daily routine. Only this time I was gawked at by a man who could not keep his eyes off of me as I was working out on hip abductor. Once I got off, cleaned the machine and moved on towards to treadmill, I saw him start looking for me and at that point it was time to pack up my things and leave. Planet Fitness please inform your male guest that if they want to gawk at women to open a playboy or go to the beach and dont make it so obvious. -I like working out here its close to my house and its convent for me. I dont want to stop coming because of creepy men who cant keep their eyes to themselves.

I look at these reviews and I got some laughs, especially from AMM...you brag how you have 3 degrees, but you cannot remember to bring your free pass nor understand policys and procedures. Better yet the girl who calls out the male checking her out along with other females also checking her out....Maybe you need a "safe space" to work out... For what they charge and what you get in return is priceless....90% of the people working out spray n clean the equipment that they use, so the cupcake complaining about the wart....keep hand sanitizer on you bro... This club is value.....and where ever you go as a consumer not everyone is perfect... Staff may be young, but again look what your monthly fee is... every time I had a question it was explained thoroughly so nice job with the leadership team their hiring and developing a well-rounded team....
