This place is an absolute SCAM! Horrible, unethical, grimy business. I had a Groupon one month trial. The girl told me I would not have to cancel and that I just signed up for one month. Three weeks later, theres another charge on my credit card. When I called they said I had needed to cancel within 15 days and that I needed to actually go in there to cancel. (The form is a joke by the way - they just want to make it difficult for you to cancel.) so when I got there she said they were actually going to charge me a third time because I needed to give 30 days notice. So how can I possible give 30 days notice if they charged me for the 2nd month in the first 3 weeks. This review is getting lengthy and detailed. On top of the unethical business scheme, the place is dirty and doesnt even have a water fountain! (What gym doesnt have a water fountain?!). Dont donate to this gym.

I agree!!! ABSOLUTE BEST GYM IN JERSEY. hands down. the price is rediculous. the gym is insane. LIVE DJ???? are you kidding me? the women are smokin hot! its a great environment for every1. i have like 100 friends that go there. some rinky dink gyms open up all over like EAST SIDE FITNESS and Retro. They are overpriced and offer less than 1/4 of what the Colosseum has. If you dont believe me, go there. you will be BLOWN AWAY. the parking lot is safe & HUGE. we sound like salesmen because we love this place. i hope I DIE in the Colosseum. I really mean that. If Im gonna go make me go in the Colosseum! there would be no better ending. I wanna go out like a gladiator. To all the staff and owners at the Colosseum...KEEP IT UP! the renovations are rediculous. the gym is rediculous. u guys are insane.and im in the best shape of my life!

First, the staff are clueless have no idea whats going on especially with the so many different changes in rates. The changes happen often, there is no consistency. Secondly, Colosseum gym is filthy!!!!! I mean down right nasty, where is the cleaning staff? Third, when and if you see the Owner to file a complaint, he is not easy to deal with, not responsive to customers needs. Fourth, there are a lot of machines are not working. The only reason why I Am a member , it 3 mins away and intense workout classes located upstairs with the hired trainers. The trainers are really good. I dont touch anything, I dont even use the bathroom. Colosseum Gym needs a huge improvement in customer service, cleanliness, and overall the quality of service (machines, locker rooms etc).

Eh its alright. They have all the equipment you would need for weight training, sometimes the staff are nice other times they are rude. But if your concerned about your workout, youll be fine. While some of the machines are worn out they are still functional, and to be honest if youre more concerned about aesthetics that your workout well this isnt the gym for you. Equipment 3 out of 5 Staff 3 out of 5 Music 4 out of 5 Bathrooms (guys) 0 out of 5 Overall a three in my book.

Staff are really great, prices are ridiculous, everyone is so friendly. You can leave your new pair of beats in the bathroom and come the next day in the lost and found box. Had a really great time going there, met some really good people. Planning to go there again, would recommend anyone this gym.

The live DJ is awesome. There are several broken or worn out machines, and theres no water fountain, but they have plenty to choose from and its a good environment.
