I had a gym membership with them two years ago. Just read all the reviews below for them going after you when you cancel and they make you send a hand written certified mail letter to cancel, is this the 1990s? I wanted to cancel the membership because the location is not good, the parking lot is not safe for you nor your car at night and theres a smelly Fish restaurant i could get smell every time Im in the small unlit parking lot. The manager immediately became unfriendly to me when I wanted to cancel and make the process difficult. Youre better off paying the extra 30 bucks enrollment and 5 extra per month and going to la fitness in west orange. The location, people, parking lot and abundance of street lighting and parking make it many times better and safer. Believe me Ive been a west orange resident for 20 years.

This is possibly one of the worst guns in the Area. For the price you can possibly be anywhere else. Theres always a issue. No air, no paper towels, broken machines, missing padding, broken windows ( and I completely mean broken. Not cracked, I mean broken as in someone through a bolder through them). Not of these things have been fixed since I joined last September. There was once blood on the bathroom floor for days. It didnt get cleaned until I asked the young ladies at front desk to clean , whom btw is very nice. And to top it off you pay for everything extra... I can go on for days but I cant wait to be out my contract. Totally not worth it!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! THIS PLAACE IS A SCAM! I RATE THIS A NEGATUVE ZERO !!! I CAN NEVER GET IN TOUCH WITH THE OWNER***!!! VERY UNPROFFESIONAL. MY HUSBAND JOINED THIS GYM AND WAS TOLD NO CONTRACT YET HE NOW HAS THIS STUPID GYM ALL ON HIS CREDIT. WHY? I HAVE YET TO FIND OUT BECAUSE EVERYTIME I CALL NOBODY HELPS. I GET THE SAME RESPONCE EVERYDAY, " THE OWNER IS NOT THERE". THEY TAKE YOU FOR YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT SAY ANYTHING TO YOU UNTILL YOU FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF. THIS PLACE IS DIRTY AND A SCAM AND VERY UNPROFFESIONAL. I AM DISGUSTED WITH THEY WAY THEY HANDLE THIS BUSINESS

Gym was terrible. Only joined because my friend wouldnt go anywhere else. Cancelled 6 months later. The to cancel they require u pay 2 months and send a letter certified mail, wait for a reply, and then maybe its cancelled. I just blocked them on my Amex.. Gotta call today that 5 months Of payments were in collections. Never gona pay that. Worst ethics for a business I have ever seen. Your gona charge a no contract customer for 5 months of unused service? Good luck. Never go here, this place should be shut down.

Bathrooms were always dirty, small work space and for the prices that they charge, youd think they would have done maintenence to the place. At one point the ventilation was terrible and I felt like I couldnt breathe. There are holes in the wall from last year. Only went there for the convenience of the location. Other then that, I was very happy to leave and I do not recommend anyone doing a contract with them. Just pay monthly is this is your gym of choice.

Do not go to this gym. This place is a SCAM. I joined this gym for 2 months. I went to the counter to cancel my membership and year later I have this gym on my credit report. I called this place for a month trying to speak to the owner and he is never in. All they can tell me is that I have no prove that I canceled. Now I am stuck with this on my credit. Dont let this gym scam you and learn from me.

It is not a great gym. There is always an issue of being over charged, the classes are randomly cancelled, the equipment is not maintained well, and the space is too small. The only thing I do like is the trainers/instructors enthusiasm. Once my subscription is over, I will not be returning.

Ive been trying to close my account for 3 month. I sent the letter like they said but they did not like the way I sent it. However they never gave me a call telling me. Then I sent it again but they havent told me if my account is closed or not and the cycle starts over today

I go here everyday, Im a long time member my only issues I have is the cleanliness of the gym is bad, and the equipment isnt well maintained along with the building.

rarely crowded. But no gym guidelines or rules. People do whatever. Most of the workers are kind. Some are rude. Overall "eh" gym.
