My experience with this business was not only bad, it was pretty close to unbelievable. My husband left his keys in the mailbox, and someone took them. That was on Tuesday. We waited a day, hoping whoever took them would return them. Didnt happen. So we are pretty uptight about someone, probably from our neighborhood, having keys to our house. I called A B 1 and the soonest they could come was Friday. So on Friday I got a call from the dispatcher saying the technician was parked in front of our house. Except he wasnt... A very long series of phone calls between the dispatcher and me, and the dispatcher and the technician (who Im told was the shop manager) took place. The guy kept saying he was in front of our house. Not so... This went on and on. I opened the garage door and stood out in the cold for the better part of an hour waiting for this presumably lost locksmith, so I could flag him down when he passed. I finally had to call the dispatcher and tell him I was cancelling and would have to call another locksmith. Weve had zillions of delivery people, painters, plumbers, and landscapers come to the house. No one has ever had a problem finding it. It couldt be easier or more straightforward. I have to say the dispatcher was great. I think he was very embarrassed by this absurdity and being caught in the middle of it. The manager/technician probably just wanted to get off early on Friday afternoon, and instead of being professional and honest about it, he played me for a fool. I think the owner of AB1 should rethink who hes got managing his business... The result of his little game is now we have to wait until Monday - another 2 days - to get our locks changed, so we have to spend the weekend hoping some stranger doesnt walk into our house.

On Saturday, October 4th at 4:45pm, I called AB-1 Locksmiths and requested urgent service to open a locked home office that has no key. The gruff individual who answered the phone said that he would arrive to my house between 6pm and 7pm and open the lock for the fee of $95. I gave him my address and phone number and told him we would be waiting for him. At 7:30pm, I called and left a message, and again at 8:45pm and 10pm. My calls were not returned. On Sunday, October 5th, I called again at 8:30am and my call was not returned. When they finally called me at 9:30am (16 hours after my original call), the man on the phone was gruff once again, and barely apologetic. He seemed to be pained to say he was sorry.

We locked our keys in the car and we are in Santa fe, nm. We called several companies and one came out and failed to open the car because of an anti theft feature. We called A.B.-1 locksmith and Barbara came out within 20 minutes and it took her less than a minute to open it. Great company, great service!!! Other companies failed to give us a quote and wouldnt come out after hours!

Barbara did a great job! We needed a home re-keyed on a Sunday. She responded quickly and was at the house before we knew it. It took her less than an hour to pull cylinders from 6 different doors, re-key them, re-install them and then present us with a new set of keys! And the price very reasonable. Thank you!

After using several typically over priced, careless and inattentive Santa Fe locksmith service providers, the people at AB1 were the only ones to respond immediately to an emergency and were so hard working and reasonable that I added 50% to the fee. Hard to find in this town.

Locked myself out of my car and called them. Guy showed up in 5 minutes and popped it right open, took him about 3. He was helpful, courtious, and prompt. Payed 40 bucks and he left. Great experience.

Lost my trailer lock keys called them at 7:30 a.m. they arrived at 8 and unlocked it for $50. Super nice lady and very professional. I highly recommend using them.
