I took my car to city island auto body for a rear end collision . Everything is rushed , they rush thru the paperwork to secure the job, but when its time for them to repair your car , its a long wait. My car was there for one whole month , and every time I try calling them you always get a answering service and these are people that has no information on your car. The so called manager is the worst, he lies about everything , he tells you your car will be ready , and he will call you , but he never calsl you and when you try to call , you never get him. They finally told me my car was ready after the insurance company stop paying for the rental car I have, but when I got there , the car was missing a molding on the rear bumper, I had no choice but to take the car, since I need it for my job and since they promise to order it and have it replaced. They say they will call me when the part gets in. These people never call me , To make matters worse , I took my car to the dealer for a problem I had with it , and to my surprise they told me the rear bumper is a aftermarket part, they even compare it to another car and show me the difference. I had a friend who tracked down the owner on facebook and complain to him , so the owner ask me to come in and meet with him. I went there and he promise to resolve all the problems , and they would contact me to schedule the work. To this day (3 months later) they never contact me , I also contact the better business bureau, they try to contact them also , but could never get in contact with them , so they close the case. I still drive around with a crooked aftermarket part on my car even though my insurance company pay them $3800 .. I am warning anyone who decide to take their car to this place, You will get ripped off, and you will be another unhappy and angry customer . the are full of s@##

THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE, PRICES ARE RIDICULOUSLY HIGH! I PAID FOR A BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR AND THEY "FORGOT" TO PUT THE ALTERNATOR IN AND RETURNED MY CAR TO ME. THEN THEY ASKED ME TO BRING IT BACK, I GET 5 MINUTES AWAY AND THEY SAY THE MECHANIC LEFT ALREADY, I HAVE TO BRING IT IN THE NEXT DAY. SMH... WHEN I REQUESTED TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER TO DISCUSS A REFUND THEY CALLED ME TALKING ABOUT THEY WERE RECORDING THE CONVERSATION AND WOULD PUT ME ON A BLOCK LIST SO I CAN NEVER RECEIVE A TOW FROM THEM AGAIN. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED!

Shop charged $1400 just for towing the vehicle to their location. Justified it as hazmat and man power fees. Was a Chevy Impala. Do not use will take advantage of you.
