For literally decades, my family has been going to All-Type Collision for all our mechanic and autobody needs (dont let the name fool you, they do perfect work on collision and auto-body repair, but their work on general mechanics is equally fantastic). It shouldnt be so hard to find a good, honest mechanic, but the family-owned shop at All-Type knows that if you do good work at a fair price, and give your customers a reason to trust your judgment, youll find a repeat customer for life. As a perfect example, I had the dealership perform routine maintenance on my car. At the end, they brought me over and showed me six items that they said needed to be repaired/cleaned/replaced -- one of which, they claimed, was a slow leak in the transmission fluid box and another was an "emission service" for some carbon buildup in the engine. I called Frank at All-type and told him what they told me and asked if I could bring the car by. He told me to come by with their list. I brought it straight over and he told me that they could take a look and give me an evaluation the next day. When we spoke the next day, they told me that the transmission "leak" was nothing more than normal sweating around the box and they checked it and there was no leak and the "emission service" was a joke. I did need new brakes and I should get the spark plugs replaced sometime in the next 10k miles, but I didnt need it right away, I also needed two new tires. They suggested that (1) if I was going to get the two replaced, that I get four new tires and (2) that I NOT use them for the tires. Thats right -- the mechanic told me that since they dont do a lot of tires (and so, they basically buy them at retail), shopping around would save me a lot of money. They asked me if I had a CostCo card, because they have good prices on tires there. I decided to have them do the brakes and the spark plugs, which was literally half the price of those two items on the dealerships estimate, not to mention the thousands of dollars the dealership wanted for the unnecessary items they wanted to do. If you need a good mechanic or auto body repair, give these guys a try. Theyll earn your business and your trust.

My experience from start to finish was exceptional. The owner and workers took care of all the time consuming details from information needed by my insurance company to guiding me through the rental car process that I needed while my car was being repaired. My family and I have been taking our cars to All-Type for 15 years and we are consistently impressed with the quality of work and extremely fair prices. I have brought my car in for routine maintenance, as well as more complicated repairs and bodywork/paint - the work is always done right the first time, and always in less time and for a lower cost than a dealer repair. All-Type also makes it a point to explain the repairs to the customer, and to update the customer as the repairs are going on. Most importantly, the guys are All-Type are extremely professional and kind - Ive always felt like they are working in my best interest. I highly recommend this auto shop!

There isnt one bad thing i could say about this place. Last week was the first time i brought my car here. They took my car last minute when i scraped the whole side of the bumper. They fixed it up with sanding and painting within two days. The pricing was generous. The guy Frankie put air in my tires, touched up a few other things, and he even gave my filthy car a car wash. I was beyond satisfied with the results of my car and it is safe to say I wouldnt bring my car to any other repair shop besides this one.

My 2015 Infiniti Q50 was hit by a drunk driver over night. Both my bumpers and the grill were ruined. Filed my claim, and All type was recommended to me by my parents who had their Maxima taken care of by Frank. Made a call to Frank, took my car in and about 2 weeks later got it back looking exactly the same way it did when I drove it out of the dealership. I would highly recommend this place to anybody needing work done to their vehicle.

When I found out that this was a family business that has been around for a long time, I felt that that was a good sign. Well, their work was excellent ( they made my car look like new!) and they were easy to communicate with by phone for updates on my cars progress. I had an accident and my car was towed away. Frank came to the place where the car was towed, waited with me and then took it to their shop. He guided me though the whole process and made it literally care free. Everyone at the repair shop are so friendly and helpful. When I came to pick it up, my car looked brand new! Thank so much! I used to have an 02 Saturn that Vinny and his crew took care if fairly often (200000+ miles on it). Then, my wife and I got an 05 Grand Caravan, and I took it there to get inspected. I will never go to a different mechanic in this city. They are intelligent, kind, and provide quick, fiscally reasonable service. All in all, they are the best.
